I always get notified when another civilization will attack me, they says something like we will wipe you out, etc, never had a civ attack me without first declaring war on me.

It will work, but like you said it will be a logistic nightmare, more than 20 planets and you start to go crazy, I personally like few habitable planets, but I am a freaf about micromanagement.

According with secret documents intercepted by our IGA (galactic version of CIA) they AI decided that they didn't like you so they decided to surrender to someone else, anywho..... Good advice, always check the military strenght of the AI receiving the remaining planets, usually you can take over all the remaining planets because they don't have any kind of defense if you do it right away, if you decide to wait couple of turns the AI receiving the planets will bring its ships in there

The good thing about the AI surrender to someone else, is that when they do the planets are completely defenseless, no ship to defend them, so just go and invade them and says to the green buggers kiss my guns!!!

First you have to research alliance or trade it from another race, second you have to get the allien to a "close", how to do that, by trading, creating trade routes, building your military so they start respecting you and considering you as a possible ally, once in a while give them so worthless tech you have already research, and that will help to increase the status of the race towards you.

Looks like a graphic card problem, I had a NVIDIA card that I bought recently to replace my old ATI and I had to uninstall it and put my old back, because the graphic quality was bad, so it could be a graphic card problem, have you downloaded the latest driver for your card? Also the game has some settings that can help your card to perform better.
