once you convince them to go to war does that mean they will actually start attacking each other or will they sue for peace within a turn or two.
i dont understand this part always try for at least 200 points from AI's normally 10bc over 20 turns
how do i start a war between the AIs.
how do i decide if techs are worth trading...the alien races never offer equal trades its always like i have to give them the everything i have for any stupid tech. then they go and trade the one i gave them amongst themselves like crazy...i feel like im totally out of the loop.

im brand spanking new to this forum and almost to the game. I dont understand something. My population size always plateaus off. But when i look at the computers population its always like 7 times as high. what is the computer doing so much better than i am. i understand taxes, planet quality, improvements all have an effect. But at the end of the day i get blown out of the water.

My biggest question is...I colonize a planet and eventually my population stops growing. I try to make the planet quality as high as possible, i try to build things that raise moral. But all these things that i build only allow the population to grow slightly higher than the plateau that i hit but they COST WAY more than the populatio
where do i find these downloads. The only things i see on stardock are miscelaneous downlaods for software not related to galciv
Ive just bought the game. Ive registered my game. Now i want to get all the patches and expansions. The problem is that when it try to download something from galciv.com it asks for my email and serial number. After i put type these in and submit them i get a comment back that says You must have installed Galactic Civilizations from CD before applying the BonusPak. If you are using Stardock Central, we suggest you use that to apply the updates. But, you're welcome to save a copy of this
