3 Bugs (Didn't read the above posts, sorry if mentioned): 1:Freighters: Freighter's with lots of movement only move one per turn if on autopilot destined to a planet, although if you click on them they show they have their normal movement (eg. 8/8) and you can manually move them the correct distance. It's like the game is mistaking them for freighters that have already set up trade routes. New problem to the beta, I think. 2:Custom Race: <br/

I think that's a great idea - and then the starbase cost could perhaps be upped for the non-resource bases to compensate. ~SDC~

New bug -reproducible every time I try. Happens anytime I load up AP with another application is running that uses creative labs ASIO driver for the Audigy. Causes the computer to crash and reboot. This is w/ AMD athlon proc, via chipset, SB audigy w/ newest drivers. This happens if I do a fresh install of windows (which I've just done) with a fresh install of AP - though it also happened prior to the new installs. Is this a prob w/ creatives drivers or w/ AP, I don't know. <B
Keep clicking to change the map size when starting a new game and you'll get to an option to load a map. I had to be told this too - something more obvious would be helpful, imo. ~SDC~
I get similar load times toward the end on both my comps - p 4 (c) 2.4ghz, 1gb ram, ati radeon 9600; athlon 1ghz, 512 ram, geforce 2. Saves take even longer, taking over minute even at the start of the game. ~SDC~
A bug I've noticed in my last few games - all random anomolies, etc. completely dissappear sometimes. This is after repeated saving and loading. I don't have a save game right now - just formatted my drive - but I'm sure I'll be able to find another game where this happens. ~SDC~
Additionally, when I give a star to an alien race, the wrong star is often given. Trade routes are not established correctly - I send a freighter from planet A to planet B, but the trade route ends up being from planet C (which I may or may not own) to planet B. I also receive trade routes from races I haven't met yet. All of this is agin on the gigantic balanced map. ~SDC~
Thanks for the info on the maps - though now I've got a problem with custom maps crashing the game. With my most recent try, the game crashes when I try to load a save game - I tried starting over several times, with the same result. When I use the included maps, the game works OK (i.e. saves and loads work). There are problems (on gigantic balanced map)such as aliens sending colony ships to stars that have habitable planets, but not colonizing them. There will be stars with a shie
I cannot load any maps - is there anything special that must be done or are the map & campaign features not enabled yet?
