Not sure what game it was I was playing but you could add your own galaxy sizes to the tables used for the maps and you could include number of stars and planets per stars too in the table.

I would just for ONCE like my posts to go where I wish so I can get answers to problems in game. I've posted in the help section for help with the forum but my posts get deleted and all emails to stardocks about my problems with the forums go unanswered.
I've often wondered about this, if I am mining an influence resource on one side of the galaxy, is it raising my influence on the other side?
I update designs all the time and have yet to have my base design poof.
Is the one not growing the one you keep launching colony ships from?
Did you save the new design under a different name?
In the beginning of the game I had an explorer, pressed A and it dutifully went off searching for anomalies. I did not have a scout in service at the time but this didn't seem to bother my explorer. Midway through the game I get a message, Explorer XXX can not find anymore anomolies. I check the map and its only 1/2 uncovered and there is plenty of unexplored space within its range. What's up with this?
if you are going to specialize a planet for, lets say, production and other planets for economy etc. if you want to have your production planets just pumping out ships, then this equals wasted production for all of the other planets. the ships would take so long to create, there is no point. For

- If a planet has sufficient tiles: 4 factories, 1 starport, 1 farm, 2 entertainment, xxx market centers, xxx research - > lvl 12 planets, 4 factories, 1 starport, 2 farms, 4 entertainment, xxx market centers, xxx research - small planets 1 farm, 2 entertainment, 1 marketcenter (basicly economic plantes) - bonus tiles
Speaking of bonus tiles, that teardrop bonus for Approval...is that what you should be putting happiness things on?
Just started a new game and the VERY FIRST UP resolution was to limit the starbase modules and everyone but me voted on two. Not sure about you but this is going to seriously gimp my game so my only option is to withdrawal from the up since this is a PERMANENT resolution. Any other advice?
OT, why is it that only 1 in 10 of my posts onthis forum actually end up where someone can see them?
I had the game CTD last night when starting a new station on a mining resource...just poof, 20 turns gone down the tube.
Oh, more than owned. I'd say this merits the full "P\/\/Nz0|23|)!" tag. Okay..I don't speak leet..what does that say???
Half my posts never get responded to becuase this forum software is crap and never puts my posts in the right area.
Is there any way to CUT DOWN the number of these events. I've been getting them about 90% of the time when colonizing and I find them quite irritating at best since the choices are stupid most the time.
* - To consider why unused social production isn't returned to you as money, consider a possible situation if it was: Imagine you're on 100% social, but all your planets have finished building, so you're earning lots of money every turn. Then, you finish researching, say, Invention Matrix. Suddenly all your planets start build

What happens to money on a planet that isn't building anything? I had a few smaller planets that had all thier tiles maxed so I decided to focus on military. When I clicked the focus button their expenses DROPPED by 40bc. I decided not to build any ship on that planet and keep the 40 bc increase in my budget but it got me to wondering what is happening to all that bc on other planets that have not
Believe me..I'm very interested in this too..nothing goes to the forum I tell it to post too.
I was trying to use the extra's last night one a ship but the 'place' button would never light up. I wanted to add a green light to a new ship, but it would not let me. What is the magic key to getting these things to 'place'?
Turn 1: I purchase outright a factory on my home world, purchase outright a speed 3 colony ship on my home world (you can create this once in ship editor, then it will be available for all future games). Set taxes at a level that gives me > 50% approval (this is for 1.0.X). Give full funding to research (0 to social or militar
