BTW, I don't have any problems with the third governor button unless you are talking about the actual governors. The only one I've used is Mr. Ford.

Yeah, that's exactly what happened, and I didn't realize it till later. The strange number jumps only happened when I went into the red. Took me a bit to realize it only happened when going negative.

First problem I came across was clicking on the Total Routes button when looking at the stats for an enemy. This crashed me immediately to the desktop. I reloaded and tried again and got the same results with all races I had contact with. Second 'feature' was after I built a Terror Star. Sometimes when going to the economy screen after the funds had been deducted for the Terror Star I'd suddenly get back anywhere from 7000 to 8000bc. This doesn't always happen but its a nice 'feature

What determines morale of a newly colonized world? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I've lost two worlds to defection shortly after colonizing them due to low morale. Both of these worlds were colonized with 1% morale, while other worlds colonized at the same time ranged from 50 to 70%. What determines how high or low the morale will be on the newly colonized worlds?

Sector ownership and influence driving me crazy in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I'm building all the influence building stuff I can and for some reason its not doing squat for me. I've got two planets two sectors away and all the area was blue between then. The Torians had one planet that was down and to the right of my planets, then he builds one about 4 sectors up to the left and all of a sudden everything in between and all around those two planets and several others turns the Torian's color. Should I even be concerned about this? I'm very new to the game so I'm not

Not sure how far I'm into the game, Nov 2201, is the date but I forget when it started. For some reason all the menu buttons along the bottom and on the side changed both coloring and icons. Take the ships button for example. Before it was three bluish-white triangles of the same size in a triangular pattern on an off-white tannish background. Now the icon is three blue triangles of different sizes still arranged in a triangle pattern but on a white background. Also, the font for the word T

I'm new to Gal Civ, just installed the game, came to GalCiv.com to check for patches, entered email and serial number, went to the download page, clicked on the link but NOTHING happens. The download never begins.
