From the Metaverse Review: [quote]Many have noticed a decline in their empire's score. It is thought that a Metaverse-wide Recalculation may have occured during the server work on January 28. If this is so, overlords who have not submitted in a long time will have their scores recalculated, dropping their scores due to the degrading formula. Various empires are now attempting to breathe new life into the Metaverse. Sensing a feeling of stagnation with the current situation, many have begun to employ new strategies to liven up the community. These efforts have thus far remained unseen and discreet. But, thanks to some investigative reporting, the Metaverse Review can reveal some of the plans for the future! Just as a heads-up, the Metaverse Review is currently under publication and should expect delivery very soon. I have mentioned, without a lot of detail, a little bit of what I have learned of the "secret".

No, what I'm saying is occasionally the Metaverse goes through a forced recalc. Basically, whether scores are posted or not, the recalc affects everyone. This means players who haven't submitted a score in a while will have their scores degraded. This is where a lot of the points went.

Certainly the Blue Ridge Pkwy is not meant for efficient travel! Right now, large portions of it are closed, because there is no snow removal for the Parkway. It should re-open in a few weeks when things melt... :(

It's probably nothing more than a Metaverse-wide recalc. It happens occasionally...I wouldn't worry too much about it. Score degradation is sort of scary, isn't it? :notsure:

It is the most powerful base ship class, at least for now. You can improve lesser class ships to be better than Excalibers, with Shipyards, etc and using Military Resource starbases.
