Check this thread. Sounds like you have the same problem. Link
I'm not holding my breath. IE7 is sure to be nothing more than a stopgap to ensure MS dominance until they get Longhorn ready for primetime.
They should install like a Windowblind. Check the "Tips for new users" thread in the General Forum for more information on how to download with the correct extension.
Phoon, since you like FireFox but prefer IE, you sound like someone who should take a look at Maxthon. It's got the tabbed browsing like FF but is based on IE so it also has the compatability that FF sometimes lacks. I have both on my system but use FF as my default because it's not as complicated. However, I sometimes need to use those sites that give FF fits and I create shortcuts for them that use Maxthon. The only time I use IE is on the Updates si
Frogboy, shouldn't a Czar have better access than Citizen?
Welcome Yarlen....I was able to bring up the forums on the first try today, so I guess your already hard at work.
As an avid road race fan - I'M EXTREMELY JEALOUS!!! I have to pay top dollar to get close enough to feel the bits of hot rubber rain down on me while the sweat carries it into corners of my eyes. Only rarely can I afford to get to where I can take chances getting struck by flyin shards of metal, fiberglass and plastic. Around here you have to stand in line to volunteer for that kind of job.... Having said that, I know the drivers, their wives
In the building where I used to rent space for my business (20,000 sq.ft. bldg with 8 businesses), there was a Handicap ramp with a railing to provide access for wheelchairs into the building. I live in a town which has a PUBLIC park with a skateboard bowl built for the kids to use. However, they prefer to come into the business district and ride the railing and ramps provided for handicapped access. A kid fell off his skateboard while up on the railin
Control Panel - Display Properties - Windowblinds button - Basic Settings - Uncheck Skin Windows Backgrounds or you can go to Per Application and add your internet browser to the list.
I can see several of your Sysmetrix skins including the latest skin in the librarary "Dark Bar" Maybe there's some bug in the system keeping you from seeing your own stuff.
Some Desktop X themes and the RightClick program both can put your Start Menu into the Right Click menu. However it's not the same Start Menu as is attached to the Windows Taskbar. Also, with Object Dock there is a couple of docklets that will bring up your real Start Menu seperate from your taskbar. I also seem to remeber a couple of Object bars that were re-cr
Unless you saved it as a theme (Object Dock Properties Page - Save Theme As) your out of luck.
I've noticed at times the tabbed dock (used as a drawer) will disappear off the screen after running a screen saver or some other program which makes use of the entire screen area. The program is not actually off, it's just not visible. I can get it back if I right click on the systray icon and click on my docks.
I prefer the Yahoo Desktop Search. It has viewers that can handle my Autocad drawings files. The indexing seems a little slower but once complete there is very little impact to the system.
You'll want to check the "Tips for New Users" thread By Koasati in this same forum section. Covers this problem.
Shabazz20, read the second part of my post #2
To change Icons require Iconpacakger be installed. It's a seperate program from Windowblinds. Also the "free" or "trial" version of Windowblinds does not skin some parts of the GUI.
If you have a systray dock one click will bring up the item. I'm not sure that it's offered in the free version.
Thats correct, in a tabbed dock. I have 3 docks, 1-tabbed with all my shortcuts 2-Standard w/Running Tasks & a clock 3-Standard w/Systray only. However, I may have mispoke earlier. The check box tells you it does not work on tabbed docks but I turned it off earlier and clicking brought up a second instance of FireFox. I turned it back on and it brought up the current instance of FireFox with one click.
I can't speak to AIM, but with tabbed docks in OD+ it only takes one click to bring up Winamp, Firefox and Folders. The check box to show "currently running" doen't effect tabbed docks, that's the way they always work. It is still there for your standard docks under the Advanced Options.
Have you tried setting the dock to Normal Z Ordering? I frankly don't know if this will work but you ask for ideas. Also, I assume you have your Taskbar hidden, was it set to autohide before you checked the "Hide Windows Taskbar" box in OD+ If not I would recommend turn off the autohide option, reboot with the taskbar NOT hidden, see if windows max to top of taskbar then check the Hide Windows Taskbar option in OD+. Just an idea. <img src="http://image
I'm not aware of a configuration option that would allow it. However it may be something that the skinner can change during his dock design, I'm not sure. Maybe Essencay or Blue Dev will see your thread and respond.
I'm assuming your using a standard dock and not a tabbed dock. When you call the entries "quicklaunch" are you using a shortcut to a shortcut or do you mean "Entry" in the sense that your target is an exe? Also is this the free version or the plus version?
