You know there's been several threads concerning problems with theme manager over the last couple of months. I don't have any proof but I think this is connected to the way some computers with the SP2 upgrade download files. They convert (mine is one with this problem) any compressed file, regardless of the extension, to a zip file. This would make it hard for a proggie like theme manager to autoinstall those files. I use a cordless Trackman II. I however, don't use the drivers supplied with the Trackman. This is possibly the cause of your trouble. I had some similiar problems when I tried to use the mouseware by logitech. Try uninstalling mousware and just using the Windows built in drivers and see if that doesn't fix it. Let us know how it goes.

It might be a good idea if the ratings were taken off the main browsing page and only available or visible when your click on comments. Kind of out of sight out of mind for some of the "drive-by" types. At least then an individual couldn't just go down one page and rate 25 or more skins at once.

RN2004 as far as I know there is no Avatar access level. An avatar is the little icon sized picture you see in the upper right corner of many of the posts on the site. Click on My Account under the tabs and you too can upload an image to use as your avatar. Far as I can remember it has to 70x70 pixels or less.

One fix for the problem is to change your browser from Internet Explorer to FireFox. I have one of those system that no matter how I adjust my security settings after installing SP2 ANY compressed file download as a .zip file. I switched to FireFox and the files download as named on the site and I really like tabbed browsing. ChristyJ, Windows XP with the SP2 upgrade causes some system to download all compressed files as .zip files. The actual file has a .wba extension. If you follow Jason Carver's advice you should not have any problems. However, another fix is to use an alternate browser like FireFox that will allow you to download files as named on the site.

If it has a .dxpack extension, or a .dxtheme you should be able to just double click and have them automatically install. If you've downloaded a widget then it will have a .exe extension and also will automatically install upon running it. Usually there will be a c:\program files\stardock\object desktop\desktopx directory with dxpacks in the objects directory, themes in the theme directory and widgets in the widget directory. If you use Stardock Central you can go to the Object Desktop download and install Desktop X2. The Desktop X Documentation includes a scritping guide. It should be a PDF file located in the Docs directory under DesktopX. Of course there are people like Martin Conroy who you could email with any specific questions.

Thanks OO, I found the DHCP client list after some poking around. It was hidden a few layers down in the program. Staus Tab, then Local Network, then DHCP, Then DHCP clients. Still appreciate the response.
