I think this is good news for OS customization in general. Assuming it CAN be done, I imagine Windowblinds will be able to "fix" the desktop....I just don't want to move to a new OS that seems a step backwards rather than forward.

I guess we can wave a fond goodbye to Aero. MS confirmed that it's out for the release version of Windows 8. Looks like pastel solids & squared corners will be the new look. I hate pastels.....like the blue of the forum.....been making my eyes burn for a couple years now. So I guess the good news is Stardock may have a lot to do in the next few months.
If it's not medium or large fonts my guess is it's probably the NVidia drivers
Your Windows Graphics Experience score is 1
A 1 kinda sucks Morten....try running the Windows Experience Index....might fix it for you. Also...make sure Firefox is set to use the default theme. Skinning it from 2 different sources at the same time can cause problems.
I disconnected over a year ago. Not going back without at least a 70% reduction in cost. NetFlix and Amazon Prime subs. I have 1 TV with a Roku SX and another with Xbox360..... The ONLY thing I miss about CATV is Speed Channel and it wasn't worth $180 a month. I thought you might like a platter to compare to. Western Digital Caviar Black 640GB I pulled my SSD because it had a unrecoverable bootsector that I thought was due to a bad disk. Turns out uninstalling VMLite is what did it (repeated it's performance on a platter) So I'll be re-installing in a couple hours.
RIP Carroll Shelby. You will be missed.
Happy Birthday Wise Old Man! I hope you have a good one :)
I hope you had a good day!

The site gets SPAM every day. Jafo, Hankers, & ID keep it under control when they're available.
It looks like the CPU "creep" is fixed for dual video card system (or at least mine). I ran it for several active hours yesterday and left it run overnight and all cores are idling where they should be this morning. I appreciate you fixing these issues considering how few of us run more than one video card.
I recently started watching Better Off Ted on Netflix....good way to give your mind a rest.
The active adapter runs about $60 US last I checked (been a few months) and they seem to have a limited life span. I dropped about $40 on a 1 GB HD 5450 instead and it runs the third monitor just fine. The last drivers for the HD 4XXX series were just released....no more support for the 4850 so you'll likely be SOL for Windows 8 should you ever decide to give up Veesta and RC.
Mustang is the wife's....I couldn't drive anything that slow...
I prefer the original Star Trek, but I must agree #1 Inner Light...way ahead of all the others.

It has to be done during OS install, and it looks like work to me, but if it does what you want, it would be worth it.
Object Desktop stuff seems to ignore the setting. They actually recreated the Public/Documents folder after I had moved it. You have to use each program's method except WB which I couldn't find a way to move either. Definitely a wish
Nice of Neil to support beta software....
Is that still in BETA?

I personally went deep-deep water fishing in the gulf 3 times since last may and several the year before and while I caught quite a bit of fish, I can't remember catching any with sores, lesions or missing any body parts.....tasted good too....but hey, I'm not trying to get a government funded grant to study all the damage BP caused. Don't get me wrong, I believe BP's responsible for what happened and should be held accountable but my PERSONAL experience and that of al
