Path of conjurer doesn't add the listed 3 level to the summon
After some digging, I suspect this is because the ModType is Unit, instead of being Player like all of the other abilities that add to summon levels. I have not tested to confirm that yet.

When I built the city in the Imperium wildland, the wildland cleared, but all of the river tiles became plains. So no docks for my nice city.
In a similar problem, I kicked the AI out of my territory, and they got a free pass onto the wall in the Imperium.

The regeneration spell is not providing any benefit after the first turn. My unit healed went from 2 health to 4 health, then stayed at 4 health for a number of turns before I noticed that nothing was changing and dispelled the spell.
I am very excited to see this news, and look forward to the future. Congratulations to all involved parties. [e digicons][/e]
Personally, I dislike giant units. If I want to see "big" unit icons, I'll use the cloth map. If I'm zoomed in on the world, I want it to feel like I'm actually looking at the world. EDIT: And of course, Raven X expresses my exact opinion in the time between me starting to read the threat and posting my reply. :p
@ boar_amour and anyone else that might need similar help Email ; they'll help you out. And I'm sure you'll still be able to get into the beta.
Quoting blix2006, reply 4378.84mb is the size Uhhh-- Why is it so small Stardock? - And (Everyone Else) please no off-color jokes on that sentence.....
If I remember correctly, even though we haven't been seeing it, some content was already present, but disabled. So the new stuff doesn't need all that much space. 'Course I'm just guessing - I could be way wrong. :p
Total size looks like 0.99 GB (though I thought it said it was bigger before I started downloading). I don't know how big it is if you already had 1Z, though; I had been holding off installing when I got my computer back because I knew Beta 2 was soon. ;) EDIT: ah, ninja posts; I guess it's 378.84mb, then

If I still may, I'd like to claim a dwarf. Name 'Gradsh'. Preference:
Unnamed Dwarf Proficient Miner Skilled Engraver
Looks pretty good. [e digicons]:D[/e] Is there a graphical difference between the beaches and cliffs on the cloth map? I couldn't see a difference in the video, but maybe I was just missing it.
This looks like it could be a bit of fun. Does forum discussion here count, or is that intended for forums on other websites?
Here's my stab at making an NPC: link pretty picture PM me if you need my name.
My personal preference is for you to focus on building out the Factions with more lore and artwork. I think the game would be more enjoyable that way. Major customization stuff can maybe be visited later.
"I'm sorry sir, but there are already 4 of those in that city! We do have all the resources and logistical capability, but it is simply not allowed! Would you like to build a university instead? We're allowed two more of those!"
I think the idea here is supposed to be that the building limit represents the limit of your logistical capacity to support a structure of that type in that particular city.
I was surprised when I saw this, but only because I thought we were getting 1Z3 anyway. ;)
This also happens if you teleport to a tile.
I don't much like start-of-turn pop-ups in the first place. Could we maybe get something like the 'Minimize Pop-Ups' option in Civ 4? That would solve the race conditions of simultaneous events, as you can deal with each event separately in your own time.
I've been playing with this a little, and I think it has to do with building something next to the watchtower. I think I've seen some weird behaviors with unit LOS as well, so I'm wondering if the game is displaying the 'top' (most recent?) LOS instead of the 'best' LOS.
I've been a fan of Stardock for many years, and a large part of that is because if Brad thinks a game could seriously benefit from more development time, he pushes back the release. It's a good policy, and leads to some greatly enjoyable games. Keep up the good work!
Designing a new unit appears to use the sovereign base stats instead of a normal unit stats. So the unit has 40 hitpoints/2 sight, instead of the 10 hitpoints/3 sight upgrading the peasant design would give (which I asssume is what it should be). Also, just upgrading the peasant design but not changing anything adds a turn to production time for some reason.
Yeah; I had to just shake my head sadly when I saw that.
This is especially annoying when trying to deal with enemy units that appear to be in one place but are actually in another.
