Surrender in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

In my last game, a nation surrendered to me, and all of its star bases disappeared. I was expecting them to need my new constructors,but they vanished.

The stardock sight seems to only allow buying the s/w (I already own the CD.) For updates it points right back to the GALCiv site.

OK, I keep messing up. I am playing this like MOO 2(Master of Orion) and keep getting my butt kicked. I have the opponents sewt to sub-normal. I build a few colony ships and am way behind already. AM I supposed to build 1 colony and then a constructor. Iyt seems the other guys already have 10 colonies by the time I get 2. Is there an easy way to take systems. You seem to loose so much pop when attacking. You don't conquer the people as much as annihilate them. What e

That might be it. I dropped my military % to 10%. Let me try that and see.
