yah, so im a slow typer.
I believe it is C:/Windows/system32 that you want to place the file.
Aaaah, that makes sense, CerebroJD, Thanks.
the word d e le t e was removed a couple of times in that last post. Hope it still makes sense.
Hey did you rip my transparent Luna skin? Just a joke from another thread. I dunno what is causing it but I remember having this problem once also. I saved the skin as another name. Like Mime2 then the original , save it again as Mime1 then Mime 2. I know it sounds rediculous but it worked?
If you are just using them for pictures, regular CD-R's will do fine. They are also a heck load cheaper than CD RW's.
Your talking about Desktop X weather objects and try 411.com for the zip.
If it matters, Theme Manager has replaced winstyles. Try installing Theme manager if you have not already.
you can name the bitmap file anything you want. ex. nameoffile.bmp, The screenshot needs to be named something else. nameoffile2.jpeg. You can name the wall whatever you want when uploading. That is what people will see.
My email addy is on my profile. Thanks!
That would kinda be like handing a grenade to a baby. ...........sure I would love the link.
sorry, i meant zipped.
now that I have used it a bit, some of them are gone. Thanks! some remain like,Mouseover on start button- "click here to begin" All the tips in the remainder of the start panel are gone. Its when I am working with skinstudio that they are annoying. Some that are turned off now, I miss. Damned if ya do damned if ya dont. Thanks again yrag. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.g
Darn! Well now that all the files are d, I have no copyright issues, right?
It didnt work. It seemed so promissing too. Not only am I cursed with the permanent my music icon, now I am cursed with forever tool tips. Aaaaaarggh! Thanks again yrag.
Just finished my newest skin, Tranparent Luna, I posted a screen shot below.
I had tried the same thing folowing microsofts instructions but that had failed and that was what prompted this post. Your procedure is slightly different. MS said to create the value of " enable tooltips" instead of showinfotip. I will try it your way yrag. Thanks again.
Sstmsup, i assume that your log on falls into this catagory..https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&id=253773#255679 deaidrah- type in "log on studio" in the search box at the top of the page. This will bring up tons of logon studio info.
Try uploading as a compressed bitmap. I was having the same prob the other day. Then I compressed the file and it worked. Go figure.
thanks yrag. I downloaded it , checked disable tool tips, it didnt work. > Thanks though.
eh, What do Doctor's know anyways? Get well soon!
Captain, Assuming I understand the prob you are having, I have had some success by deleting the original attribute and then importing a new image.
Can someone tell me how to disable tool tips"balloon messages" in windows XP?
