"Today the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has released a press release regarding the transferring of electronic music to Portable Music Players. In part the statement says that: "...as iTunes downloads do not go directly to the iPod (or smiliar players) the transferring of a music file from iTunes to an iPod obviously constitutes making an illegal copy of the file. it is our belief that if Apple wanted legally purchased

idiot. why didn't I try that earlier? its all worked, sorry for wasting your time...
I have AVG antivirus installed. I'm running XPSP2 on a Dell GX270 with 256mb RAM. I don't think its a hardware problem, rather a software clash or missing link somewhere. I may try reinstalling wb, and see what happens.
Hi, Just upgraded my subscription and updated to WB5. WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins. You have one monitor in total. (Dell 1504FP (Analog)) 1 is attached to Intel(
ok, ok! got it done.
Hi, clicking the "Click here to subscribe link" sends me here: https://www.wincustomize.com/resources.asp?cmd=5 which doesn't work...
the internet is not freedom, it is not slavery. it is neither good nor evil. the internet just is. the internet is nothing new. it increases the scale of communication by orders of magnitude, but doesn't add anything to interpersonal relationships.
Oh. So very very nice. Smoothly and beautifully integrates into XP. Excellent work to all involved.
I didn't realise i'd been trialling windows vista for about 7 years
Mr Gates: What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Natural Desktop is great. The only issue is that now I find it hard to match my windowblinds skin to my desktop. How hard is it for natural desktop to force a colouring change in windowblinds when the desktop changes. I figure in your spare time you can have a go at that one!
I guess, from a users' point of view, the time taken and the technical input are not the aspects of a skin that sway the decision. In a commercial environment the product that has the broadest public appeal wll beat the technically superior product more often than not. (Does anyone remember VHS vs BETA?)
I use my PC 100% for business - got to pay the bills. A lot of designer skins are almost unusable in the basic MS Office applications - in particular word and excel. Dark backgrounds and over the top scripting - which look great as a screenshot - just don't work when you are trying to get through 8 hours a day. The minimalist skins are user friendly and mean you are not stuck looking at the same frames / buttons / titlebars everyday, but at the same time you can get some work done.
I think extending the time limit would benefit everyone - I assume that those who have submitted entries already would also be given the opportunity to improve (if possible) and update. Having said that a month is a long time in IT.
I've started using iTunes as opposed to winamp or windows media. Is iTunes skinnable? and if so, will there be some skins soon? and if not, why not?
"We were attacked. The US didn't start this war." I still can't get this quote out of my head. Is this a commonly held view amongst Americans? Whilst there is no doubt that the 9/11 attacks were horrific and reprehensible and that the perpetrators must be brought to justice, is it the view of any one that there is or was any relationship whatsoever between Iraq and Al-Qaeda?
I thought Mike Moore suggested Wes Clark prior to the campaign, in "Dude, Where's my Country?" From memory he picked him after he thought that Oprah and Martin Sheen were unlikely to run. I'd think that the fact that Mike Moore's influence has limits is a positive. Too much of a good thing? Marshall (Melbourne, Australia)
can't agree at all with you muggaz. the liberals have poured nothing but scorn over every policy the ALP has launched this year. The Liberal Party has not had an original idea since someone cropped those photos of the 'kids overboard'.
Just to keep the Americans scratching their heads, Mark Latham (Australian Opposition Leader) has come out this afternoon and said australian farmers have been "dudded" (cheated?). apparently some of the subsidies will take 18 years to phase out. free trade is free trade, i think this is pseudo free trade.
sorry muggaz, the answer to your question is that the australian government has retained the right to force local tv networks to show a minimum % of australian made/produced shows. this will probably also include those ridiculous US-sourced tv advertisements with the dubbed australian actors
an anyone fom the US tell me how this is going to get through Congress in an election year, especially with Australia retaining the right to heavily subsidise pharmaceuticals in the local market?
I installed a bootskin because I am a skinning junkie, but after receiving the blue screen of death (WINXP) on boot up i uninstalled. Morning routine: get to work. switch on computer make espresso get to work. marsh
hi all when i try an install desktop x via stardock central i get an error telling me that the file size was larger than expected. any thoughts? marshall
OK, one more question. I can set my monitor to 1600 x 1200, 1400 x 1050, 1280 x 1024, 1024 x 768, but no 1280 x 960. Is there a way to manually configure that in w2k?
