I agree with your article. I have always felt a large part of this criticism is driven by jealousy on the part of the critics. When you are at the top you draw all the fire. Just imagine taking a realistic view of say Togo or India. I am hoping (undoubtably in vain) that congress will pass legislation putting a tax on blank CDs or computers to compensate the music companies, and then allow swapping to go on. The main reason I have is that no music company will offer the variety that you could find on Kazaa and may I add the freedom to do with the music what you want.
