"And this is typical of evil elite cliques, like the U.N." states and angry General cousLee of the vid-set pirate brodcast at the Black Faction meeting. "Even if it means we call on them many of us, whom find it an honor to die for our cause!" he rants on. "Our trained urban gorillas will see that you do not suceed!". Secutiry alert! The problem with having a woman as president, is that she would not get the respect deserved in a number of chavunisticly run countries. I would have my doubts they would be as effective overseas. On the home front, no problem. Bare foot, pregnant, and IN CHARGE. :D (cous gets hit in the head by a thrown brick) Women's faluts are many! Men have only two... Everything they say, and everything they do. ******* The man should always have the la
Neutral, obviously, means you usually pick the neutral choice
Or, that your ending society alignment shows neutral (stats tab, domestic policy screen). Mine is currently "neutral 54", and that is a come back from "demonic 01"

and that is just 2000 potential sales from the chat board. This would not include all the potential sales from retail outlets. AQs for a map editor, that would be a nice addition. I know in another game I had, you had the ability to use custom galaxies. A LOT of players started using real galaxy configurations instead of random ones. Imagine being able to play all the real galaxies available from the hubble telescope. I could see a large amount of custom galaxies available for down

No, they were late game space junk finds, so I put them in orbit around non-defended systems for the attack rating boost. basicly a cheap support stats bump. Only ships I disbanded during the game were about a half dozen scouts, a couple of sensor drones, and 4 blank SBs I got in a trade.

I guess in retrospect, the gigantic crippling win was quite an achievement, considering the things in game that are not accounted for in the scoring. Namely, the only time I had to reduce my spending down from 100% was during the final strech when my pack of 9 mini freighters hit those last two sectors that didn't have any trade SBs in them. My trade routes were about a dozen sectors long. The other worthy note is that I only used one govenor, and ALL facilities were in the queue. Only a cou

Only one shark? in my last game, there were more than a dozen of those buggers running around. (and no, the UP zoo vote never happened). As for luring them away, I found you need to keep about 4-5 squares away from them. If you get farther away, they look for different "food".

I chose maybe because I might buy the expansion pack, and I might decide to upgrade to drengin.net. If I upgrade, then the last answer would apply, if I don't, then maybe would still apply, as I am not sure if I will still be playing this when it comes out, in addition to the other concerns posted above (regarding selling fixes, ect). You say less choices, I said there should have been one more: "I will upgrade to drengin.net if you do put out the x-pack for this game."

Thats what you get for eating Big Bird from stress-a-me street. LOL The answer to what the bird represents is in the Viraxian story line. And obviously your symbiont made you tip your hand. It's the whole good VS evil thing I wrote about. ;) Quit fighting it, and join. :D

:SURPRISED: Well, I had been hoping that all the nay-sayers were exaggerating about the beyond human victory point scoring, but alas they are not. It was certainly difficult to refrain from military conquest to get this win, and scored less than my previous, smaller galaxy, easier level game. >:( >:( only foul lanugage comes to mind. However, I did like the final movie clip for the win.

I thought that at maso, you are pretty hosed when it comes to diplomacy anyway. If AI will NOT trade with you, then what does it matter what your diplomacy rating is? I would think that leaning all your picks towards something the maso AI does respect would be better (like military). I have not worked up to maso yet, so I can only go on what I have read on the boards. [Message Edited]

But all those good choices have an impact aswell. Taking a -25% hit to planetary production stings as much as a +PQ feels good. And when you consider the empire wide impact of a lot of planets with negatives the +PQ becomes much less attractvive (for me anyway). Even if a player wanted to play an honest saintly game (no evil choices at any time), it could be difficult to reach given the number of events VS the number of planets available to make that mark. Yes, evil is a lot easier

I guess therin lies the problem. I would not want to force any paticular event. I don't see how scoring would be an issue, I don't think events are taken into account in the scoring anyway. Once a player reached the chosen morality, they could choose all the neutral choices. Perhaps a minor scoring penalty for making evil choices once morality was at zero, or scoring bonuses for good choices, once at 100. As it is now, I can B-line for demonic, and continue evil choices with impunit
d) button to move all automove ships - separate from "done". continues automoving all ships even if some have remaining movement points, then autoselects one.
Indeed! Or, at least make a menu option that allows "move auto-pilot ships at begining of turn" (and maybe a hot key to stop all auto movement).
