Are 1.05 games playable under the expansion pack? Or should I finish my current game first. And the recent poll is missing an option. "I will buy Drengin.net to get the x-pack"

Follow the direction on the Ebay fraudlent activity reporting checklist. You can even contact your local law enforcement agency, and they tell you how. You still have things you can do to try and get your money back. I used the Ebay fraud reporting once, with good results.

Sorry, was on a week long road trip visit the new in-laws (for both of us). Was a nice trip, but still a bit worn out. just got back in last night at 1am. At least I have a game that I should be able to finish up. Was not able to finish off the damn Yor before we left. Yor are the only "intelligent" race in the options (all others normal), and the only major left. But want to avoid a long drawn out war, they do have a nice fleet....all over the place. ;)
It would autosurvey at all times
Bad Idea. I don't always want my Hero scavengering. And by the time I am ready to set my survey ships on auto, I don't care where they land. Unless your playing large or giantic maps, range for them is not an issue anyway. And if you are playing those larger maps, you really should have more than one survey ship scouting around. Esp if your concerned about losing a 1% bump to whatever.

Wonder if they could add a second color level to the "games submitted" stripes. Like if you had 10 games submitted and 5 were maso, you would still have two stripes, but the bottom one would be blue to indicate the 5 Maso games out of the total submitted. Or it could be based on the percentage of Maso games submitted (would promote more maso games, instead of just enough to color all the stripes).

Also of note, the AI you sell the trade good license to can not resell it. I seem to remember selling the same trade good to an AI twice, but could just be a brain fart moment. Brings up a few questions. A. How long does the AI (or you) get to utilize the trade good? B. Does going to war with the seller stop you from receiving that good? C. Because if the sale is permanent, shouldn't you wait to sell them until you have the best diplomatic position?
When you are below -500, your spending is 0 whatever the slider says.
I know that. I am talking about the period time it takes to get from -499 to +1 (+whatever). When below the -500 mark, you can stil set the slider to 10%, to take effect as soon as you get to the -499 mark. Most of the time, I will put it down to 10% before I get that deep in the hole. Besides, the tone of my original post was more along the lines of "don't worry about it", not "this is

I have not really looked at any other submitted losses. No idea if mine is a good loss or bad one. LOL Losses are welcomed in the Viraxian Ascension. And no one in the empire has given me any grief yet. ;) My impression of Maso? Well, other than feeling like I brought a sling shot to a gun fight, I might learn to like it. Next time I will bring my own whips, chains, clothes pins, leather, handcuffs..... I think I just had a moment. Anyway, oh yeah, the game. Time will tell

I may change my strat i the future, but for now I don't worry that much when I go below -500BC. Usually the shutdown only lasts for a few turns. I will put spending at about 10% while it recovers. most of the time it only takes 4 or 5 turns and I am back in the green. I tend to have this happen about 3 times per game. It really don't slow me down that much.

Yes, but if the AI is in a position to buy the special outright, waiting can end up costing you one of them. Had this happen in my current game. Waited until I got the notice, reloaded the previous turn, boiught the thing, and the Yor bought a different one instead. I usually give the special 3 or 4 turns (depending on production capacity) then buy it. Not sure if there is any difference in cost per unit like other "Civ" games, but am finding that to be the easiest way so far.
for some reason my starbases don't seem to get the stellar wake/inverse tractor/interdiction beam options!
I have not built those kind of SBs yet, but I know that some modules won't show up until you build the lower level one first. You said any ideas, so there it is. lol
