Great Work! These options make customizing the Start Menu near perfect. Added refresh icons option to Win10/11 menus to refresh icons should the user have changed icons via a tile editing app or due to OS icon cache changes. No more restarting Windows Explorer to effect the changes made in the editing app. Win10/Win11 styles now offer a right-click Icon submenu that lets you easily change the
Looks like sometimes applications that are installed don't show up in Start11's menu (although they do appear in the native Win 11 start menu). When I re-booted the PC, those apps (Standard Win-64 app and installer) did appear. Is there any way to force Start11 to refresh it's list of apps or restart Start11 to see them?
I have been restarting Windows Explorer which is much faster than a reboot and it will refresh the Start 11 menu.
Installed DeskScapes 11 (Beta 5) today. A little learning curve on the UI, but overall very nice. I really like the Desktop Info Panel, but we need a setting for 12 Hour time and full date without the CPU and Memory usage monitors. Maybe a separate setting for 12 or 24 Hour time, and then options for Time and Date settings. Thanks Windows 10 ver. 19044.1387, DeskScapes 11 Beta 5

Just wanted to report that the Advanced Option to Load custom static tile images on the Windows 10 Style start menu seems to working fine on Windows 10 (ver. 19044.1387) using TileIconifier (ver. 3.1.1.2) to create the custom tiles. I was able to reproduce the start menu I had created with over 150 custom tiles prior to installing Start 11. This feature is Awesome! I was pleasantly surprised with the new Advanced Options in the Start 11 Windows 10 Style menu. * Force icons to use more area * Use Windows 11 menu style icons * Use a more faded background for tiles These are features I have been wishing were available for a while. Thanks you!
I am running Windows 10 ver. 19044.1348 / Start 11 ver. 1.0 / IconPackger ver. 10.0.3.0 I have replaced all the system Icons with the Windows 11 Icons using IconPackager. Folder Icons in the All Apps List in Start 11 on the Windows 10 Style Start Menu don't respect the changes made with IconPackager. However, folders nested inside these All Apps List folders do respect the IconPackager changes. See pic below. <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/
When using Window 10 Style on Windows 10 (19044.1320) there are a couple if items that I would like to see improved. 1) When you click on a Letter in the All Apps column, the resulting key is shown at the top of the column instead of centered in the column like windows 10. This requires a change in muscle memory and further mouse travel. 2) It would be great to be able to adjust the size of the icon inside the tile similar to TileIconifer. This would allow a more compact menu

Unable to PIN Vivaldi to Start 11 Start Menu. It may be because the Vivaldi application does not reside in the Windows Programs Folder. It is located in the following location. "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\." I am running Windows 11 Dev. Version Build 22483.

- Option to show tiles without text (icons only) I second this request for an option to show icons without the text labels. Icons could slide closer together both horizontally and vertically allowing for more icons on the start menu.
There seems to be an issue with the Menu Font size setting. When the Menu Font is changed to 90%, the font gets extremely large until a restart of the computer is performed. In the Modern Mode, when you hover over a pinned folder the contents pop up in the right pane in alphabetical order . As of now this list does not scroll. If possible, making this scrollable would make sense.
If I reduce the number of number of icons the height of the menu is lower. Glad to know that is the reason I was having trouble. So, based on your reply, the start menu size is adjustable based on the number of icons and rows you select in the settings. On another note, are you guys planning to have a theme that mimics the Windows 10 Start Menu. Not the tiles, but the same layout with all apps on the left and apps and folders pinned on the right.
