Your license must be for Start11 v1 and 1.5.6.1 is the latest version. I’m not sure why the message was for Start11 v2.
Okay, thanks. This will help with the diagnosis.
There was a serious crash of the Stardock servers back in March of 2025 and they had to be recreated from an off-site backup. A lot of accounts were not able to be restored. I suggest creating an Account Management support ticket. Account Management Support https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/14 Choose "Ask a question" and describe your p
Just curious. If you disable Groupy and open an Explorer window and snap to one side of the screen, and then refresh using SOLIDWORKS PDM, does the window resize happen like it does with Groupy enabled?
Glad you figured that out. We were very confused. 😄
This is what I see. I don't see an option "Always show icons" other than the drop down list.

These are awesome! I love MS 365 (Office) icons.
I visited the site and this looks like a really great product. I'm not a photographer, but their tools look very professional. I have a brother who is a photography enthusiast and I plan to bring this to his attention. Thanks for sharing.
I am a big fan of Icon customization. However, in Windows 11 it has become increasingly more difficult. I typically change every icon I can to a custom icon. I use the built-in Windows Properties dialog to change what I can, and I use Nirsoft FileTypesMan which allows changing application icons by extension. Where I have issues are Windows Apps, Notepad for example, which don't offer a clean way to change the icon. I can use custom icons for Windows Apps in the Start11 menu, con

I think you must be referring to Object Desktop, not ObjectDock. Object Desktop is a yearly subscription and includes 5 active installs of software titles included.
The current version 3 allows up to 5 active installs with the same license.
You should put the "Steampunk Frog" wall in the WC Wallpaper Gallery. I'm sure a lot of people would love to have it. Thanks

As a work-around you can create a shortcut for "Shutdown." Set the location to: C:\Windows\System32\shutdown.exe /s /t 0 Name it "Shutdown" or whatever you like Now right-click this shortcut and select Properties > Change Icon, and change the icon to the power Button icon located in %SystemRoot%\System32\shell32.dll Place it somewhere on your C: Drive Now open Start11 and add it to your "Shortcut List" using "Add link to shortcut..."

I have never seen this issue on my PC and I have been using Start11 for several years starting with version 1. I very rarely restart my computer and it runs 24/7. The fact that you are seeing this on two PC's, it leads me to believe there is something in common on both that is causing this issue. You could try disabling Start11 for a few days and see is the issue happens. Perhaps Basj, who is the Stardock Community Assista
Just curious. Do you by any chance have "Auto arrange icons" checked in the desktop view settings?
