It could be that something, possibly another third party software, is interfering with CursorFX. Since you have the Pro version of Windows, you could try installing CursorFX in Windows
Open the CursorFX configs, select the cursor in question, and click the yellow button on the right. This will open the cursor states. Make sure the cursor actually has a hand cursor included. If it does, then it is something else, which will need further investigation. You could try running the Purge .bat file, which will uninstall everything, including the themes. Just to be certain, check the Windows settings "Accessibility > Mouse pointer and touch." Make sure the Size is set to 1. Any other setting seems to mess with CursorFX stability. Only use CursorFX configs to set the size of the cursor. There are also two types of files available on WinCustomize. They are CURXPTHEME File (.CurXPTheme), and CUSORFX File (.CursorFX). check in "C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\CursorFX\Themes" and see if you have both. Make a note of one that is
Sorry. I think they are just trying to offer the options available on the standard Windows 11 Start menu. Stardock does not alter the Windows OS thru Registry hacks, and so it might be unable to remove the items you don’t want. good luck

I'm afraid your stuck with the options below. In other styles, these options are part of the User avatar, which is not available in the Window 7 and Modern styles. You should be okay installing ver. 2 over ver. 1 and your settings should be maintained. Worse case, you would have to rebuild your start menu, but I don't believe using a registry backup from version 1 will work. Version 2 has added quite few new keys/strings that won't be included in your backup of ver. 1.

In order to make the tabs different colors, you will have to change the background color of each Fence and use Segmented or Rounded tabs. Unfortunately, the font customization changes the font for all the tabs.

The best bet is to submit a ticket for this change. Purchase \ Refunds https://stardock.atlassian.net/servicedesk/customer/portal/4/group/13 Choose "Ask a question" and describe what you want to achieve. Supply all the documentation you can. Make note of your ticket number and don't resubmit as it will kick you to the back of the queue.
There are quite a few reports of this with Excel on the internet if you search. Does it still happen if you block Excel from grouping, or disable Groupy?
Right-click the icon and select "Pick custom icon..." There are also a lot of Windows 11 icons in the Segoe Fluent Icons font.
You can resize the Windows 10 style start menu, very much like you resize an Explorer window. Move the cursor over the edge of the menu until it changes to the Resize cursor and drag to make it smaller or larger.
