Like your avatar. Very creative. You should try the 30 day free trial of Fences 6. It works great with Windows 11 and has added some great new features, including tabs and a new color picker in the Personalization section.

SasS seems to be the way of the world these days. With Windows being updated every month with more and more AI and other changes, lifetime licenses don’t really last all that long. They’re usually only good for the version you buy, and then you have to pay for the next version upgrade. Software version upgrades are becoming more frequent because of the pace that Microsoft updates Windows. Windows 25H2 is just a few months away, and who knows what software it will break.

Try the Purge and Re-install instruction listed here, except don't reinstall. https://support.stardock.com/space/SHC/1332477959/Fences+purging+and+re-installing This should remove all the Fences components.

Check your Personalization Settings again. When you change the Background Color of a Fence, occasionally Icon Tint is automatically set back to on.

The new Color Picker in Fences 6 is a game changer when personalizing Fences. I change my desktop image quite often and I like to color coordinate my Fences with the desktop. The new Color Picker makes this so much faster. Thanks Dev Team for adding this awesome feature!

You can buy a permanent license to Fences 6, however it will not provide a free upgrade to the next version 7.xx, but Fences 6 will continue to work as long as Microsoft doesn't change something in Windows that causes problems.

There has been an issue with the Galleries since Friday. It has been reported and they're working on it. Look at the Home page for the newest walls. https://www.wincustomize.com Also, you can click on a users name in the Galleries and it will take you to their latest skins.

So, I uninstalled DeskScapes 11 deleted settings and removed all relevant folders. Downloaded the most recent installer, and installed. I still get the settings Options as posted in Reply #7. Windows Pro - 23H2; 22631.5335 DeskScapes 11.0.2.0

Maybe it was included with DeskScapes 10. Do you have a license for DS10? I upgraded from 10 to 11, so maybe that’s why it works for me.

It's listed as Liquid Dreams in the Installed-Animated Backgrounds. Do you have DeskScapes 11.02? <img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/69/28/6928565/085b493a-b578-4543-9d07-4636e7e96937.png" alt=""

In the late 80's into the mid 90's, I used the Mac exclusively. Mac was a different beast back then. The UI was similar to Windows during that time period, but the CPU architecture was RISC instead of 8086. As far as reliability goes, a total system crash at least three times every day was normal. So many times I lost work since most software didn't offer auto-save and I would forget to save. The UI is so different now, I'm not sure I could easily jump back and forth between W

If you open the Cloud Atlas folder in Windows Explorer with the same icon view, does the spacing look the same?
