I can verify that both Start11v2 2.7.1.0 and Groupy 2.3.1.0 both say there is an update available if you click the "Check now..." button on the "About" page. It must be something on the server side. I actually got an unprompted update dialog this morning for Groupy.
Yes, checking both apps appear to be fixed.

FYI, I experienced some hard crashes recently. Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent; Code: 141; Bucket ID: LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Pascal The error code 141 and the word Pascal in the Bucket ID led me in the direction of my video card. From further investigation, it seemed it was related to a corrupted video driver. I experienced this once with 26200.8313, and twice with 26200.8328. I downloaded a fresh installer from Nvidia, an installed it check

Thanks for that explanation naroon1. I have noticed your images are much cleaner lately. I will usually clean up the worst abnormalities in Photoshop of images that I want to use on my desktop. I have a 40” 4K monitor, so any imperfections really stand out. ;)

I change my desktop background almost every day. I like the variety of images available on WinCustomize, most of which are AI generated. The only criticism I have is that AI seems to have a very hard time with human hands, building roofs and windows, and miscellaneous other items. While I really appreciate all the excellent work by most "artists" on WinCustomize, I wish more time was spent on post generation work. Thanks to everyone creating all the awesome images.

I remember getting my first computer in 1982. It was from Radio Shack and it hooked up to a black and white TV, with a cassette deck used to save and reload simple Basic programs. I used the IBM PC at work where I sold main frame computer software. But my first real personal computer was a Macintosh Plus in 1986. I used Apple computers for years until I went over to the dark side and bought my first Windows PC with Windows 95, and never looked back. Thanks to everyone for your

This is not a solution to your issue, but may help with moving the window when you can’t grab the title bar. PowerToys has introduced a new module in PowerToys 0.99.0 called Grab And Move. It allows you to move and resize windows by holding a modifier key ( Alt or ⊞ Win ) and dragging anywhere inside the window. Left-click drag moves the window, right-click drag resizes it from the nearest edge or corner—no need to a

I understand your frustration. Stardock Start11v2 requires updates in order to keep it compatible with the never ending Windows updates. If you stick to the Release versions and avoid Beta versions, you should not see that many updates, certainly not every few days. Stardock has always provided software support in the Stardock Software forums. There are many advanced users who are willing to help, as well as, the Stardock support rep. If none of these provide a solution to your issue,

It allows you to move and resize windows by holding a modifier key ( Alt or ⊞ Win ) and dragging anywhere inside the window. Left-click drag moves the window, right-click drag resizes it from the nearest edge or corner—no need to aim for the title bar or thin window borders. This is a great new module, especially with large monitors, or multi monitor setups. Chec
no, not a registry entry, i've tried all the old reg bypasses and Start 11 was the only thing i found that worked (until today's update that is..) there was a setting in the taskbar options that hid them.. there is still a setting that says hide animations but it doesn't seem to have any effect....
The new update broke my ability to hide taskbar hover previews in windows 11 25H2, this now creates a conflict with my Object Dock software as the preview windows cover the Dock. Is there a way to go back to the previous version? It was working perfectly for me with no issues until the update today.
How were you hiding the taskbar thumbnails? Were you using the Stardock provided Registry Stri

Thanks for the reply. I’m glad to know this is the expected taskbar behavior, I just never noticed it before. As a test, I purged Start11v2 today and sure enough, this behavior is part of Windows 11. Again, thanks for letting me know. pelaird

I have recently noticed that if I have two, or more, windows of an app open, the taskbar icon background has a ghost background. I have tested this with the Enhanced taskbar on, and with it off. The ghost background appears in both. I have also deactivated Start11v2 using Start10tweak, and the ghost background still appears. I don't believ
