I don't know that, that would be possible... my system uses a 100 mhz FSB. This chip uses a 14x multiplier and a special voltage regulator built onto the slot 1 converter by powerleap which control the exact output. ( no AMD in the 1.4 ghz realm runs on 100 mhz so the comparison could not be made) This is why a machine that was meant to run nothing faster then a P2 500 can push 1.4 ghz. of coarse there are obvious bottle necks in the 100 mhz sdram and the hard drive speed but I firmly be

I just don't think that what is suitable for one is suitable for all... different uses and different circumstances will determine what is "best" There is no way I can get an AMD that will run faster then the Tualatin 1.4 on my BX board without any mods... so for me Intel is #1 at the moment <img src="http://images.stardock.com

I'm with you jake I've done the very same... the only money I really spent on it was on the Proc... it was about $170 us... but I paid $250 canadian. I don't know if it will work on yours or not. There is a utility they have that you can run it. Email them the results and they will email you back with any possible upgrade suggestions. post your email. I'll send you the link. If your sounds for system events is not disabled it is quite possible that you have disabled the ability to play back midi or wav files. If you double click on the speaker icon in the task tray you will find many options to mute various aspects of the sound system.

Thanks to the suggestions and ideas... I did also notice late last night that the total downloads did not reset. However the higher totals were all during friday. Anyway I did send off an email to T-Man... I like to see the downloads but for two of them to have been so high on one day was just quite odd. Also I beat Juni in the top downloads for Dashboard... thats kinda like Jafo doing better on Bryce downloads then JamMeister or JamMeister having more success at LiteStep then Jafo... <img s

I may have a fan I don't know. But someone has inflated my downloads today on atleast two of my skins... although its not a big deal, I think it makes me look bad. These skins are not new so its quite abnormal... could this be looked at and corrected?

This theme was released b4 WB4 however they did indeed keep WB4 in mind when they designed it. So that WB4 users would be able to take advantage of the cool new features with this theme as well. I recall the Toon XP web page did indeed mention the WB4 features.

Jess has the right answer... I will have to assume that you do not have a stand alone version of desktopx... it will not load on startup so you can start it manually from the start menu. also make sure you are using a good screen resolution... I would say atleast 1024 X 768
