It turns out the start button full path is: C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\BOIS Dark And the start button file name is: start_button.tga Hope this can help someone as it helped me.

Thank you so much it worked!! It seems that Windows Blinds will read all of the files of the theme on the files Drive but not the start button. It would be great if you guys could fix that to prevent this hang up upon re-installing windows. Do you have a working version download link of skin studio you can send? Because the current version of Windows Blinds it won't open.

Hi thanks for your reply. I can't buy Start 10 right now. I just need to know the exact file name and file directory for the Start button of the screen shot above so I can replace the file that keeps loading since your new version of Windows Blinds won't load Skin Studio to be able to locate it.

The Windows 10 start button can be changed with Windows Blinds I had it done. But I guess I had the start button file on my C drive so everything else ok loading my theme from the folder on my Files drive but my custom start button won't load as before and the Skin Studio won't load with this current version of Windows Blinds to help me locate and swap it. Hi i'm using the lastest version of Windows Blinds Acrylic 7 with custom Preset on Windows 10 build 19043.1165. I can't load Skin Studio to help me fix. this. I need to fix the flashing button to not have lines in it and the start button needs to be changed. See screen shot: below. I also need the taskbar buttons to hover blue. PLEASE offer a Window Blinds Dark theme! You know probably MOST of your users use your software for making everything dark and then you go flashlight in eyes white background all over your app and our themes / skins can't even make it dark. Cmon guys!!

No it's not true i had a beautiful glassy button in a former win 10 build. But if you can tell me the file name of the button in reply #8 above I can replace it with a glassy windows button.

Stardock should keep up with Windows updates that cause things to stop working. The windows start button here should have same glassy look as the buttons beside it as it did on a previous Windows 10 build:

But I'm a paid windows blinds customer and the glassy windows button used to work before a recent windows update so you guys should kindly fix your next version to not have windows screw up our taskbar theme or give a free Start 10 if you can't. Thanks.
