I'm going to bump this as I'm having the same issue and this thread seems to have never been resolved. I'm having the same issue but it's even more whack. I didn't update or anything. Just it stopped saving and I didn't find out until trying to reload. If I save it doesn't appear in the list (I wondered it US/UK dating and sorting might be an issue but I doubt it). Update. The game keeps crashing and I can't save. It's reached the point I've lost my temper. If I lacked self control I would be dispensing quite the barrage of expletives right now. Issues like this it really gets a 2/10. Look, the crashing can be tolerated at least in single player but can you please just fix the save issue? I've tried this game recently and also heard some things about it getting unfair reviews.
