There's a meter in my home, and some credit displayed in a digital readout which ticks down as I use up electricity. When it gets low, and preferably before all my lights go out, I take a little plastic key to the local shop, give the guy some cash, he sticks the key in a machine which is electronically charged with "electricity". I take the key home, stick it in a slot in the meter and the credit is increased...pay-as-you-go electricity. The obvious drawback is if you dont keep tabs on

hehe, I use a key meter for my electricity, I have to charge the key at a shop and then stick it in the meter to recharge it...I have lost count of the number of times the moment I decided to go recharge the meter was right after it went pitch black. Finding the ickle bitty key under such circumstances proves to be an interesting challenge also
