to apply to all the states just use Object.States("").SetShadow True,25,128,10,10,RGB(120,0,80) I guess your original post is correct, but the workaround, if that's what it is, is easy enough :)

Maybe the mouseleave event fires before the mouseover event though... What you can do is to make the mouseleave event start a timer, and a mouseover event for any of the children kills the timer - if the timer fires, it does the relevant hiding then kills itself. This serves the dual purpose of providing a delay for the hiding to allow for accidental slips of the mouse. ;)
My email didnt get returned so I'll assume you got my response of "count me in". h4x!
Hey Zubaz - I tried to reply to your email but it was rejected multiple times as suspected spam. Here is the text of my reply: Hi Aaron, count me in, I will attempt to provide guttural grunts signifying answers, occasionally I might even manage complete sentences. cheers, Matt | Tiggz
Agreed, I would cite treetog icon sets such as "Rooster" as a direct influence on this project, no ifs, ands or buts.
something a bit retro I'm working on - last few icons and tweakage in progress
I was an objectbar user for years - I love this kind of productivity tool. Quite recently I made the switch to winstep. The NextSTART component is very similar to objectbar, but I find it has a few extras, notably the hotspots functionality, that in the end make it more useful to me. Add to that the alpha blending, menu animations, internal command accessibility, etc, etc - well, I'm hooked. Granted, the configuration as it stands is a bit confusing, but that's probably a function of it
Hi Vad! Yes, I have awoken from my slumbers. I took at least 1 year off when I didn't skin anything - the reasons are too long and complicated to get into The last 2 months I have started skinning again - I have 3 unfinished WB, 60 icons into an iconpack, and maybe 10 incomplete widgets (some of these are left over from 2 years ago, but they ask me to finish them, 1 of which is a WB skin using
Yes, more powerful filtering tools would certainly go a long way to addressing these issues. Zubaz!!!!
I would generally agree with most things David has said on this issue, with one caveat: If ALL weather/clock/standard widgets are put in their own gallery, this will act as a disincentive to create new, more interesting and functional variations on these themes. Personally, I have no problem with people reskinning existing widgets. After all, what is the WB gallery, but countless reskins of the same format? I agree however that it was sometimes disheartening to work for months
*chortle*
Thomas had an idea of putting a transparent box for the resizer so it wouldnt show the object moving when you resized it fast. was going to suggest this myself - I find using transparent objects very useful for a multitude of purposes great little tutorial - showing people how do-able dx sc
*chortle* I think I was fooled for about the same amount of time as I was fooled by a messenger chat partner who told me they were being attacked by a flying shark and could I arrange some kind of emergency rescue.
actually i menage my wallpapers whit nview from my nvidia graphic card and i can have 2 different wall.....am sure wb5 will do the same in the future nview achieves this by taking both the wallpapers that you specify and creating a single BMP containing both images which is then applied as a wallpaper
It's not GT3 OS but I have started working on a winamp classic skin for GT3, and it's proving alot more challenging than I thought it would be. I've only really done 2 windows so far in about 4 days and they still aren't quite finished. Here is what I have so far:
Fuzzy Logic - "I still play Total Annihilation." A classic old school game - one of my all-time favourites. I still re-install it from time to time, including custom AIs and maps, and play a few monumental 4 hour skirmishes. <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Laugh.gif" border=0 AL
To disable the normal right click menu just use the following code: Function Object_OnRButtonUp(x,y,dragged) If not dragged then 'code to reduce the number End If Object_OnRButtonUp=True End Function to access the right click menu (for objects in builder mode) you can still use CTRL + rightclick is that what you meant?
variations on a theme
You are a Social Liberal (65% permissive) and an... Economic Liberal (38% permissive) </cente
I have had the same problem - also many custom file icons don't get saved when I save a theme. I found that I had to save the theme as a new name each time or the icons would be "shuffled" as you describe. Also the recent documents folder icon would never be saved. very frustrating and I don't have a solution apart from waiting for an update to the software <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Gasp.gif" borde
6 years on and I am still playing the original Unreal Tournament, online multiplayer, normal weapons capture the flag. It's the social aspect that has me hooked. I am currently in a European clan consisting of french, italian, dutch, belgian and UK players. We play in competitive leagues and just for fun. Our coms sessions on teamspeak are most chortlesome.
Thanks all A67, SD has the solution - we have to skin our own hats, it's the only logical solution
thanks peeps, I'll try not to let the side down Do I get a special hat? I could do with something to replace the bowler hat that all englishmen wear from birth.
..damn. I was hoping for a razzamataz. well... I was thinking of branching out into razzamataz, but I was hoping to fit in a doohickey before that
Confirmed, if you choose the "restart later" option then the dialog pops up again a little later. If you ignore these dialogs or are afk then it reboots on it's own. Somewhat vexing. The previous sentence was editted for sweariness.
