Currently the largest map covers an area of 720 light years x 720 lights years. That is enough space to have a player expand out into Loops I, II, and III. That is lots of space. Here is an image with sector and parsec line sto show you just how much space there is.
Not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but it bothers me so it is a bug to me. lets say I have a full list of ships in the center panel of the user interface and I want to create a fleet by slecting each one and then clicking the create fleet button. If I select the ships from the top down left to right a fleet will be created and there will be no active ship or fleet selected. If I do it bottom up, right to left a fleet will be created but it will be active. This makes any
