Rather confusingly my CE edition had a flyer with a Collector's Edition serial number and also a sticker on the back of the CD case which seemed to be required in different places. Still it worked out in the end.

Forum rating submission in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Whenever I try to give a post a rating I get a pop-up window that says: An Error Occurred There was a problem opening this page. Please refresh the page and try again. Whatever you were trying to do, it didn't work out the way you expected. Except for rating my own posts where the pop-up just tells me off for trying to mark myself! I'm running IE on Windows XP. Sorry, this is in GC2 bug reps but I couldn't see one for the forums.

I thought the tutorials were great particularly when I only had the digital download and no printed manual. But the on screen tutorial is much easier than reading the paperwork to sort out the important "get started" features and actually showing you where the buttons are. The manual is still there for the detailed information.

Digital downloaded on 21st with TGN. Upgraded to the CE CD on 22nd. Received the CD's on the 27th. Couldnt have been simpler and big hugs to Kim and all the people involved.

Redundant Error Message re resolution on launch in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I get a pop-up window when I launch telling me that my resolution is below the minimum supported 1024x768 and that I should right click on my desktop and change my settings. However, when I click the OK box on the error dialogue the game just launhes and runs fine. It resets the resolution automatically both entering the game and when exiting back to what it was. Seems like a redundant error message to me.

As Jeysie commented elsewhere: No wonder the Drengin hated the humans... half the population was probably pronouncing their race name wrong! For that reason I am today announcing the formation of the Campaign for Reconciliation and Understanding of Drengins (CRUD). When even Brad is insulting them with his soft Dren-jin pronounciation, we must take the initiative a
