Let's just hope that its not the debacle of the last game! I was exasperated as I failed to control her yet again and she fell off a roof and encountered completely out of character "power ups". I found myself shaking my head and thinking "Lara! What have they done to you?". Still here's hoping they can save the series.
I've really got into BF2 lately (hence so little feedback from me on the Betas) and its fun to work on different aspects of the game in order to achieve the different badges and awards. I hope that that aspect of the Metaverse will be expanded in GC2 too. Some people are complaining about being charged for these expansion packs/booster packs though but what do they expect? Free added content for ever? Stardock is very generous in that regard and in its after sales support but if companies

I actually bought FFXI not realising that it was an online game with fees payable. Recognising that I have an addicitve personality and I would get hooked into paying monthly charges I've never used it and it sits on my shelf staring at me accusingly! At least with the BF2 and the mud I play on they are free (aside from my internet access of course).
Well, you do have to register and then you can also get some video lessons on using the applications. I'm currently learning visual basic! Looks very different from the BASIC I remember coding from 20 years ago! Might just skip to visual C++.
It would be nice if having bought Civ4 on DVD that I could now run it without the DVD in the drive the way the downloaded version must. But maybe it does on online verification instead?

If you accept you just take their technology. You can see that your technology still remains in your list of possible offers for a new trade.

Well according to the calculator the load in the origninally shipped condition already exceeded 250W! It also seem that Dell use a non-standard PSU/motherboard interface so you either need a proprietary PSU upgrade to 450W for $149 or add the price of an adaptor. I guess I'll just have to try the new hardware and see if I get any problems. Hopefully, nothing as drastic as smoke coming out of it!
Aha! the 128MB version was using DDR3 rather than DDR memory. Having checked out Tom's Hardware comparisons the 6600 GT comes midway on the table and fares reasonably against the best so I shall go for the 256MB version of that: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150113 Any coments?
How about a rogue mini black hole wandering about the galaxy at random eating everything in its path? There wouldn't be much point in attacking it but perhaps you could send a constructor to it to "construct an interstellar gate that parked it in a safe part of the Galaxy".
