That splinters in to way too many directions. I have not been able to confirm a working solution and I'm tired of huge hulls with one guy popping out of a hatch with a hand gun as being acceptable. Eh, if someone eventually drops a helpful basic set of directions I'll give it a go though Epic keeps dropping free games and I'd rather try something new with potential than hatch-popping gun man for the rest of eternity.

I decided to try my hand at some basic mods by increasing the global values for ship hull mass and logistics to make things a bit less restrictive. I found a post about editing this game file: C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Galactic Civilizations III\data\Game\ShipHullStatDefs.xml Then that should result in making a copy of the file here: D:\My Documents\Documents\My Games\GalCiv3\Mods\Game\ShipHullStatDefs.xml or here: D:\My Documents\Documents\My Games\GC3
My thread got stuck in moderation for over a week, natural bump.
I modded a theme to fix some issues: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/9662/ Unfortunately it messes with some programs, specifically the Windows "Settings" program (C:\Windows\ImmersiveControlPanel\SystemSettings.exe). I have added a per application exception with a total exclusion however it still effects it by removing the titlebar! I have tried to use the "use applied sty
Ah, I remember setting that earlier and clearly I forgot about it. Thank you!
I would just like to please know how while editing an existing theme to disable the custom start button. It messes with my Quick Launch moving the shortcuts behind the Open Shell start button. I have SkinStudio 10.1 and I'm editing Fl8t Dark v1.1 by _koiboi . I have tried looking in: Edit Start Menu and Taskbar Edit Start Menu Clic
So when I expand "View Individual Downloads" I see it listed there however the navigation is confusing and ended up finding myself on forums.stardock.com , not store.stardock.com . So thank you for the link. So I went looking in Object Desktop and SkinStudio still isn't listed here: <img src
To fix the button position and get rid of the collapse button I had to: Click on "Edit Titlebars and WindowFrames". Click on "Edit toolwindows" which opens the window in the image below. For some reason the navigation at the bottom (Red #1) is required; there is some other button editing that does absolutely nothing. [e digicons]>_>[/e] Click the item you want to edit (Purple #2), e.g. the close button that was not at the 0x0 absolute top/ri
AWESOME! I was stuck on Version 5 because I simply couldn't find the SkinStudio any where! Why is it so difficult to find? Now I can actually edit existing skins with relative ease. I'll post my progress a little later on. Thank you for making my day!
I'm having a hell of a time getting Windows 10 to not blind me; I have to work on my computer 12+ hours every day for my business. I've been using Dark Mode by Vad_M however the latter now has missing text color in many places. I've started using Fl8t by nickyount which fixes most issues. However the thing that drives me absolutely insane is the "need" to move the window control buttons away from the top-right. I also hate that "collapse window" button that Vad's theme added t
I really want dark mode without the extra button. I've been using "Dark Mode" by Vad_M though it uses that fourth button that I can't stand and I just don't have a full week to div in to the ancient mess though I have gotten close enough to see what it does. What would be truly useful is to be able to modularize which parts are being customized: Background-color and text color. Font sizes. Font families. Margin and padding. Excess
