I will be 19 years old on Sept the 18th...so what did you all get me?
ok, I figured out the problem. I had so many different versions of Sysmetrix scattered around in my computer I forgot which was which so I deleted them all except the version 1.0.0 and updated to 2.04 so now I am good to go.
version 2.0.0 I believe, I thought I installed all of them but I guess I should try to install the latest.
now I just have to figure out why sysmetrix crashes every time I try to open up the configuration.
Sweet, I searched for it again and I found a website that helped me out. I now have a sysmetrix clock on my desktop..time to download some skins! thanks everyone, You will probably see me in and out of the threads, this site rocks and I hope to learn a lot from it.
"Load Library("mswinsck.ocx") failed-the specified module could not be found" Well it appears I dont have 'mswinsck.ocx' Anywhere I can get this OCX? Also, thanks everyone for taking the time to help.
Well, I installed every version of Sysmetrix I could find and It is still doing the same thing, It is beyond my knowledge at this point and I am forced to wait for an answer to present itself.
Nope, Still no luck I dont know what the problem is. I thought it might have been my Direct X version but I updated to 9 and it is still doing the same thing. I may try searching for a different version of Sysmetrix.
Oh sorry, I was using the frown smilie because that was the mood I was in at the time..frusterated because I want sysmetrix to work. I am on Windows XP Pro, and I followed the links from this site to the download site to get sysmetrix..I think it says sysmetrix2, I will reinstall and let you know what happens.
oh, was that not nice enough for you? ..I just figured I would make it simple and to the point so I didnt waste anyones time. I guess I was wrong to think that I was being nice by doing so. So if someone wants to help me out I would appreciate it very much.
"Component 'MSWINSCK.OCX' or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid" I get this every time I try to start up Sysmetrix how do I fix this? >
