I will try it. Might modify it to run another one to detect full screen apps and repeat each time. I will let you know how it goes. Wish I wasn't round-abouting it by killing explorer, but I understand why it might work.

Windows 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4061) Deskscapes 11.01 Nvidia Game Ready Driver 576.52 Sorry for the much-delayed response, been hectic around here. The issue has been much reduced with nvidia's latest drivers, but it still happens occasionally, especially with higher resolution backgrounds. I do not think Nvidia's Surround is specifically responsible as it hasn't been the target of any driver updates or fixes. I really would like to know
Correct, It only happens when logging in with surround enabled. I added Surround to the tags.
I run DeskScapes in Windows 11 on an Ultrawide Triple Screen 1080 in surround. Whenever I start my system the animated background displays but is paused. When I r-click on the desktop I go to 'Show more options' then I have to hit 'Pause DeskScapes' and then I have to repeat those steps and hit 'Resume DeskScapes'. This fixes the problem, as does starting and stopping a full screen app. I would like to know (Especially since this is probably a limited use
So, I have been running this program with navigation disabled for 3 yeas, waiting on the accessibility update. Why is there still no option to have icon size apply to subfolders?
This is just a work-around! I would prefer to create a startup script to pause and un-pause deskscapes 30 seconds after start-up, but I do not know how to do it since I have no idea if you have any hooks I could use in a batch file or otherwise. Since I am not the only one with these issues, if you could open a bug report ticket for the developers that would be great! A simple option for delayed start-up in the advanced settings would be an excellent way to support these iss
What do you know? Starts up no problem now!
So, I am having a similar issue. If I r-click, show more options, then 'Pause Deskscapes', then do that again to 'Resume Deskscapes', magically it starts again. I am wondering if it is pausing for a background application that has been mis-identified during start-up? I am disabling 'Automatically pause when on battery power' and disabling background pausing in the settings. I will restart and get back to you here.
Absolutely. Do you want me to disable Surround altogether or just enable 'Maximize Windows Across All Displays'? Update: Enabling the feature makes all other windows behave the way Groupy is, as is intended by the feature. Windows with active Groupy Tabs still do not Window Snap. <span style="backgrou
I am using Groupy with 3 Displays (1920x1080), running Nvidia Surroud (5760x1080). I am running Nvidia Surround with the unchecked option 'Maximize Windows Across All Displays'. When running like this, programs maximize to their prospective Display rather than maximizing to the whole desktop size. This behavior works until I turn on Groupy. With Groupy on, windows that display Groupy's Tabs do not repect this setting or are getting their screen mapping from an
It is? Where? I have to set icons to large for accessability reasons, when students navigate folders they must be the same size (in this case large) no matter where they navigate.
