Great, thanks. Edit - Actually it looks like the name of the file is goobers.raceconfigxml.

I just realized that my old custom races can show up as opponents in games with random players. How do I delete old custom races so they won't be played by the AI? Thanks.
OK, thanks. That must be it as I did not think to change the resolution.
Just picked up Twilight so I have the latest version. Whether I have the Fullscreen button On or Off it is always in full screen. The game never goes to windowed mode.
The bundle is priced to attract new customers. Every company needs new blood since not all their current customers will buy the expansions. If Twilight were a standalone game that expanded on GCII and DA then I could see offering a discount to people who bought those titles but it isn't. In the long run it will come out to pennies per hour of entertainment. One of the best bargains on this or any other planet.
In my current game the AI came from out of nowhere and started mining a belt at a system where I have a planet. It's now got the skull and crossbones over it so they should be working for me soon! In addition to that I was able to follow the trail leading from the belt back to the AI planet it is supplying with minerals even though that is in an unexplored area. IMO all such trails should end at the edge of explored space.
Game crashed after a couple hundred turns. No idea if or how I can reproduce it. One second I'm playing, the next I'm not. Disappointing. Sorry i can't provide more info. Will wait for the next patch before starting another game on the off chance the problem is fixed already.
I've made a few . . . changes to the front page. Hope you like. Much better!
Sorry for being blunt but that is one butt ugly main page! Those colors are bad. Take a look at the Guild Wars main page in contrast: http://www.guildwiki.org/wiki/
I knew that! Thanks.
I have the 1.0D Bonus Pack version but the Tutorials button is gray. Do I need another download to get the tutorials? Thanks.
If we pre-orderd the digital download version and were in the public beta will we be able to download the final version as soon as the game goes Gold? There is no reason for us to wait for CD's to be made. Thanks.
Guess I should have spammed the forums then.
Aren't those of us who bought the game prior to the close of the public beta last month all part of the closed beta?
Well I'm lost here. I don't see any update to GCII or Stardock. I've been in the GCII beta for a couple of months so should I be seeing an update newer than 12/17/05?
You can always hit Ctrl-N to regenerate the galaxy. I sincerely hope that isn't your final word on the subject! We should not have to resort to exposing where the other races are to check for a balanced start. That takes all the fun out of exploration for me. Perhaps instead we can be given a choice on one of the startup screens for "random"
Is there a way I can have it on 2 machines to test? Buy another copy?
Not sure if this has been requested already but can we have a way to see the real time on screen while playing? IIRC we had that in GC. Thanks.
elmo -- btw, there will always be some sacrifice for lower-end. Agreed. I'm suggesting 64MB cards should be that low end point if it means lowering the graphics quality just to include 32MB cards.
We may have to decrease the # of unique planets, that's one thing that eats up texture planets is that there's so many unique planets in the game that get generated with each new game and have their own texture. Please, please do not dummy down the graphics just to support 32MB graphics cards. Even 64MB cards are old by todays standards
Perhaps this is by design? If the real life player is given a free hand for the first 50-100 turns he may be so far ahead of the AI that the game will be over for all intents and purposes.
After the game is released, we may add back Humongous as a 20x20 galaxy. Size isn't so much the issue for me as the fact that an AI race seems to start right next to me in many games. It doesn't seem that hard to me to run a check of starting system locations and relocate a race if two are very close.
I've noticed the same thing. In my last game on gigantic another race was only two systems away from me at the start?! Will have to switch to scattered next game.
The screen came up telling me I had just encountered the Humans. I clicked on the button to Speak to them. Instead it took me to the GNN news screen. So I clicked on the button to Go to Planet and it took me to the Trade screen with the Humans.
