Sorry if this has been discussed a dozen times already but there are three areas I hope will be improved in the new AI. First; it was easy to fool the original AI into not attacking by building a large "paper" Navy of ships that were really useless. I haven't played GC II enough to tell if this is still a viable ruse. Not sure how to fix this other than adjusting how the AI calculates if a player really has a Navy that is a threat or not. Second; the AI had a tendency

OK, had my first invasion last night. I was on the receiving end. I had a significant troop advantage (~5:1) but what looked like a tech disadvantage (~1:2). No attack or defense advantages either way. Result: *almost* all enemy troops killed, but all ours were killed so we lost the planet. So the question is what goes into the tech advantage number? I hope it is not just a sum of all techs including those related to farming, diplomacy, etc and only focuses instead on comparing t

Not sure if this is a bug or just part of the work in progress: "String not Found" text in a window right after I lost a plnet to an invasion. I have the .err file if you want it.

Correct, the screen wasn't completely unresponsive, just that none of the buttons mentioned above worked so I couldn't get rid of it. I just pre-ordered the other day but it did not happen the couple of times I went to the design screen using the build just prior to this one. I might still have the .err file from the game where the screen problem happened. Not sure if it has been overwritten already or not. How ca

I was able to remove everything from the design after realizing the screen was hung (i.e. after pressing the Save button with no result) but that did not free up the screen. Don't recall rotating the ship while the screen was hung. Pressing the Clear, Save, and Done buttons did cause them to be highlighted but none of them did anything. I also pressed the Turn button and it appeared to advance the turn but I couldn't really tell with the design screen covering the map.

I had this same problem just now except I did have weapons. After designing a new ship I was unable to get off the design screen. Neither Clear, Save, or Done worked. Couldn't hit Esc to bring up the game menu either. Had to reboot my computer. When I did and restarted my game the design screen worked again.

A little fuzzy on this one as I forgot to write it down at the time: I believe a GNN quarterly report came up. It had a discussion about building freighters for trade routes. The sentence at the bottom of the screen should have been continued further down but the scroll bar on the right did not work.

Not sure if this is a bug or not: I got the screen indicating a planet improvement had been completed. Clicked on the Go to Planet button. While on the planet screen I clicked on the Build Ship button. Instead of going to that screen it puts the screen back up about having completed the planet improvement.

OK, the official answer from Stardock tech support in case anyone other than me cares is: "Right-CLick on the program in Stardock Central and select "Uninstall". Then reboot and reinstall it." Note: I asked them how to move it on my current computer but the same idea should apply to moving it to another computer.

Beta Install issue: I was not given any choice as to where the beta download was installed. It is not acceptable for you to pick the place to put software on my computer. Please provide an install screen where people can decide where to put installs and updates. Thanks.
