LOL got the best of both world here at home :) My main PC has the paid for version installed and the laptop has the free version. I a more than happy to pay for a new license when the paid version runs out in May. However i have heard some reviews that say the new version is not that good, so i may shop around when the time comes to renew. I have been really happy with the service up to now though!

Ok i had this problem and it is down to where Impulse installs the files. I found mine in My docs/my games. All you need to do is track down the file (starts with stardock) and move it into the programs file on your main drive. This will return all the files to their correct location and the game will start

It does appear to be faster on Impulse than it was on SDC. If this is contributive to the new system then i must say it is working. I am not getting super speed but that could be the sheer number of people trying to download it at once. Compared to the snail speed on previous downloads i am more than happy and have invested in another 10 TGN tokens.

Should you wish a clean install for any reason the programs will install the entire thing again for you from scratch.
