We agree. A program that simply does updates shouldn't get prompted. So how is this our fault? That's not what I said; A program doing updates SHOULD prompt. A program showing updates shouldn't. Doing an update is something only admins are allowed to do, since it touches application files. "Right now, every time I open up Stardock Central, I'm prompted by UAC". Then, fix your own software first! There should be no reason for an application that checks for updates to require admin rights. Only installing an update should require those rights.

Also, 9.9 repeating - .9 repeating isn't equal to 9 ( 9.9rep - .9rep =/= 9), because, then the repeating parts must be of the exact same length. But if they are of the exact same length, you can count them (countability). If you can count something, it's not repeated ad infinitum. Therefore, .9rep isn't repeated a.i. . This is an interesting move, but a bit too late imho. If they released it, say, half a year earlier, they would have got more advantage from it, because they would have less concurrency from free alternatives. Another interesting thing is which platform they are going to focus on now.
