Yes they are better at some things imo. But I have found my p4 to be rock hard stable. I am not sure of AMD's stability nowadays.
I can make a page with word for $80
I don't see your goal. you come to complain that your wallpaper didn't get accepted. Almost all of us here have wallpapers that didn't get accepted. We understand that and the rejection has helped us learn what to submit and what is a good wallpaper. It wouldn't be so bad except that the point has been made and you don't seem to understand it: your wallpaper got rejected so get over it, and make some better ones. [Message Edited]
I have never had that problem. You just make the icon in ps, psp, or gimp, or whatever. Make it look like you want, including transparency and all. then I save it because I like to keep the png file. Then I right click on it and choose to make an icon out of it using icon developer. It gives you options on what to do and how to make it. What is most likely happening is that you don't have the settings correct when you save it after you import it, or your os doesn't support the alphachannel
pssst (don't tell anybody else but here is a surefire way to make a wall that will pass moderation..are you listening?...good) steps: 1) find a picture of britney spears...the less clothed the better 2) find a picture of a dolphin. 3) open up the graphics editor and edit the dolphin and the britney pic so they aren't on a background. 4) change the dolphins hue to pink 5) now find a nice sunset on the beach pic, or draw one yourself...the quality of this pic doesn't m
"Travis" Yes, Travis" "We aren't the only one talking to ourself in here" "Your right Travis!" "I don't feel so unusual while in here" "Me neither Travis" "Oh well we are just sitting here talking to ourself while everybody else is talking to themself" sigh "yeah" "Lets go find something else to do" "Good idea Travis"
when you save as a png don't save it with a solid background save it with a transparent one (png supports transparency). then when you import it it should look right. [Message Edited] [Message Edited]
kinda sad when you consider how much sites usually pay a professional to design it for them.
you have the states set backwards. go into edit mode. right click on the trashcan and choose properties. go over to the states tab and look at the states. you should see several. Find the ones that have the image of the empty trash set and change it to the pic of the full trash, and vice versa. of course I am assuming you are talking about a dx object trashcan. Also it wouldn't hurt to get the newest version of dx. If its your normal trashcan doing this than it might not b
I wouldn't complain about things not getting accepted.
actually I think y'zdock can run 2 of itself at once, but its very buggy. I would suggest not running 2 and getting by with one. Just one uses a lot of memory (in my opinion it shouldn't use as much as desktopx does...at least thats what it did for me).
ah yes, tricksy object dock
I am pretty sure you can't. What you probably saw was another program that has the ability to launch programs.
download the icon and save it in the object dock directory. right click on the shortcut on the dock you want to change and choose change icon. I beleive this is how you do it.
did it not show the text at boot before installing bootskin? is a good question to see if its hardware based
normally I could tell you right off hand, but I have forgotten how too. I would normally look, but I am not in windows right now. what I think you need to is "add per application setting" and choose your app thats messing up and either turn of skinning for it or change its skin. at least thats what I remember.
You have two option that I know of: 1)Change the background color through skinstudio, but this might make some other parts of the theme not look right because the color has changed or 2) choose not to skin the application giving you problems, or skin it with a different skin. You can set this up through the windowblind config.
Howdy kona
yrag (oh I get it gary...duh) I just got it.
reinstall the app that accesses cddb. I think that should fix it.
you can make one yourself. its really easy. I swear.
well I like gimp better than psp, but thats probably just me....it also doesn't hurt that gimp runs in linux, my preferred os right now. I thought psp was more expensive than 50 dollars, but hey cheaper is better I have also priced older copies of photoshop on ebay for a little as 100 dollars. granted these are not fresh and you will not get any support from adobe. You can find unopened older
uh I'd download the trial of paintshop if you have never used a graphics program before gimp = hard to learn
photoshop - expensive (~600+ dollars) corel graphics -> I think its ~450 depending paintshop pro -> about a hundred I think gimp - free
