maddox is one crazy guy. and this is coming from me. but he is funny!
these might look good with it: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=2&SkinID=1035
hmmm your probably right. I was going to suggest bikaholic but there is already one out there: http://www.bikeaholics.org/ anywho I think the name should be your own creation
actually first go into the windowblinds directory and if there is a folder there named gt2 or anything close to it delete it. I used to have problems with this. Since you have tried to install it multiple times there might be multiple folders with the gt2 name with little numbers or stuff behind it. then delete the cat file. the redownload gt2 and hopefully it will install right.
it loaded for me. ???? how about www.ifiwereabikeidbeakona.us or www.kba.us (kona bikes anonymous) or www.nohands.us I'll help you with the web design too if you want it. I don't have a webpage per se, but I do know how to make them.
have fun with the broken xp. When you crack things they usually don't always work right. Also advertising that you have a cracked copy isn't a good idea. I suggest that either you go buy a real copy or revert back to whatever legal copy you had before.
and I think the ps/2 port actually works better for the mouse. I don't have one on this computer so I wouldn't know. Supposedly there is a problem with the usb ports. When I updated xp my usb ports stopped working. It took me forever to get them back. And every once in a while they stop working and I have to scan for harware changes. I think xp forgets about the usbs every once and awhile
thats good. now have you tried putting the mouse back into the usb?
those are nice. a little to much gloss for me, but very nice.
how about konaholic for a name. for web page coding a good tutorial to get started with is here: http://www.htmlgoodies.com/
yes well wasn't thinking. I have a touchpad on my laptop. anyway find a way to scan for hardware changes on your usb in device manager
wait. mine does this often. go into the device manager. go to the usb devices. right click on the main one in there and do the scan for hardware changes [Message Edited]
acually before you tried what I suggested follow this: http://www.wown.com/j_helmig/wxprcons.htm#q310994
the link that I gave you links to microsoft. the files will work if you read the directions correctly. You said that you saved a backup of the file right. well try this. delete the file and then restart. hopefully since this is required then it will ask you to insert the cd. if it doesn't then boot up in dos and move the backup into the system32 directory
you can make the glassy effect in most any decent photo editing program. the trick is to know how. its not some automated process. Well there are some plugins for photoshop that will do this, but not very well.
once you have the disks made. follow the instructions to put them in and get everything in order. don't try to reinstall windows right off. Try to see if you can access other files on your system. if you can, replace the ntoskrnl.exe with your backup. If you can't reinstall windows.
you are on a computer right now right. http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm go here and find the system that matches yours and download the dos bootdisk. follow the directions to put the files onto disks.
travis thinks there should be more skins like theses https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2916 https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=1&SkinID=2578
the bootskin program does not effect your system files so backing up the ntoskrnl was pointless. Did you install the bootskin program from stardock?

ust type in the path of the folder in the link box. no need for the explorer.exe there. the newer objectdock will let you do without the explorer link.
