I looked on the cd and couldn't find it. It was probably in one of the cabinet files, or I didn't look hard enough I wish I had a backup. but its all over now and everything is back to normal. Reinstalling windows was just an hour out of my life.

. I believe we are talking about Explorer.exe going AWOL I exiled him, but then I wanted him back and he said "no" and ran off with his little friends. I just did a test I think paxx is right. I opened up my old version of photoshop and made a new image at the size of 20,000 x 20,000 (just a little over a gig in size). then I tried to put the cloud filter on it and it wouldn't work. said I didn't have enough memory.

and it is more stable because it is UNIX based... that's a well known fact.. I hate it when people say this. it is true that it is based off of unix, but that has very little meaning to its stability. The programmers can and do make mistakes. I understand that you are trying to have an intellectual discussion. the key word there is try. Now about how osx is better graphically them xp. I don't know. But there might be an illusion of that since a large percentage of mac users are "graphically" inclined. If there is a difference it is small. You can't justify something like "graphically better" with technical information. "graphically better" is an opinion and isn't a figure set in stone.
