Have you uninstalled it yet? and then rebooted?

your welcome and I am still relatively new here...about maybe 5 months. And about a new thread: don't start a redundant one. a lot of questions that are being asked can be found on previous threads. there is the search function up near the top. of course if it is a question and you can't find the answer to it feel free to ask, I am sure somebody will help you. If it isn't a question, but a decent topic
is the program still on the harddisk? I am not sure where your weblinds is on your computer but it is probably somewhere or close to c:\program files\stardock\webblinds
I wonder too... I still don't see how businesses can stay in business by selling hacks which can be found easily for free. I hope in longhorn or an update to xp will make these hacks obsolete. Windowblinds will stay around because it can do more then microsoft's skinning engine. Its not like it would be hard for microsoft to just change the uitheme.dll file like the hacked ones are.
even I am guilty of a little copyright infringement in the bootskin section, but ripping a whole wall is a lot farther then where I have stepped over the boundary. Anyway there are a lot of theives at the evil site compared to elsewhere. mostly in my opinion because of the lack of good moderation.
I don't know. download a bootskin and look at its ini and compare it to bootxps. I doubt it is though because bootskin's ini file is only a couple of lines. you also need the background bmp and maybe a progress bar bmp
you can put icons in the right too. just a little tricky.
Another excuse is that the price of lcds are rising because of the demand. They were the cheapest about a month ago
well you could just look in the uifile.txt in the logon folder and tell us what is on line 173.
Well it shouldn't matter. the normal logon screen is handled by the logonui.exe. I have hacked this and logonstudio still works. What I think is the problem is the communications between either the logon program (be it the normal logonui or logonstudio) and the video drivers or between the drivers and the display. I have seen screens look like that before and it was because of a video driver problem. It was on win98 and I fixed it very quickly but still it looked about the same.
thats what a english to haxor translator is for. [Message Edited]
another way to change the icon is to make a shortcut to the program and change its icon and then drag it onto the menu. the only problem with it though is that if you change the icon you have to remove the shortcut from the start menu and then drag it back on. By making shortcuts you can also include links to websites. I have an item on the leftside that is a link to wincustomize.
More problems. When I set WB to apply a specified skin and leave unchecked the box `this exclusion is not inherited by any apps launched by this app', and then do launch another app from the excluded one, this launched app appears in the default skin. I am not exaclty sure what you are saying here. this is what I get from it: you

I have more respect for Rocket Division then TGTsoft. at least rocket vision has other programs that don't appear to be rips...although I have never heard of the company before.
my suggestion is to go and look at the other dx objects that use xml. the weather objects are a good example of this. If you are still confused after looking over their code try to get in contact with the original author of the code. I don't know xml so I can't help
Also I always noticed slower window dragging with windowsfx so I turned that feature off in it. just gave it the old dotted outline to move around windows.
threads, handles. applies to both
that is definitly a display problem and I doubt it has anything to so with the software except some drivers. I have the uxtheme patch right now on my computer and logon studio works. I have changed the logonui file to chaninja's and I could make logonstudio work. Stylexp and the uxtheme patch work just the same as the way the normal windows theming service does. all they do is allow third party skins to be used via the windows skinning engine and have nothing to do with the logon. Of course
(I read a couple of nancy drew books and somehow the smell of fish got associated with her in my mind) worm
that is probably a system color that each individual windowblind can set. You could just exclude studio mx from being skinned by windowblinds.
