move what archives you have already to another folder - i keep mine on an external if you archive that which is installed, you can only restore on the same os use the 'download and archive' function - downloads straight to archive straight download to archive should allow you to restore on another os - after installing impulse you might also consider 'impulse anywhere' it's kinda set up so you can download archives on one c
