Just a thought - am at work so I can't try it - not sure if one 'check' will remove the other - so... - switch to regular mode and see if maybe run at startup is checked there, if so remove it and then check it on builder. just a thought based on the: "Desktop X is already running ... yadda yadda yadda" the same theory might apply if you have D

Have you tried running IconX from the start menu? or through SDC?
Hmmm... I just right click the the tray icon and choose configure - usually not in builder mode = so I tried in builder... and voila: Link

If you're running DTX it will open the DTX options menu which has a tab for IconX. If I unload DTX and then run IconX, then right click and configure just the IconX menu comes up.
kinda sounds like something like this: Link but with different options popping up. I can't create one yet, but maybe this one can give you an idea how it's done

hmmm McAfee vs the other guys or WB/DTX vs the other guys seems it might be easier to find comparable AV/FW if all else fails.
have you tried a preview after the png export to see if it's there? i was unsure if the line shows up on the png or when opened in the paint how about another program to change to jpeg instead of corelpaint? if you don't have another, try irfanview = it's free sorry, i don't have coreldraw so i can't offer solutions, just possible workarounds I'm pretty sure the ole icon-a-day guru might stop by and offer a corel solution tho
