Yeah BOB was cool. It's way to early for me to look (just got up, waiting on the COFFEE!), but I think someone (Frogboy?) did a DesktopX version a long while back.

'intact'.....'in tact' is something else .....[he says, in tact]... I thought it was punnier the way WOM said it.
Do you get any choices in "My Toolbars"? Make sure under Basic Settings you have Toolbar Buttons checked. After you choose a toolbar. Close IE and restart it. If you are using FireFox, it doesn't change the buttons. If you are using a different browser, keep checking back to see if anyone else has an answer.
Do you have the free or registered version?
Interesting. i use NAV and NPF and I've never had that issue. Do you have "lock desktop items" checked in the desktop properites? I have bought the OD disk, so I have almost all installed.
Your welcome. That question is also one that resolves a lot of 'this won't skin' questions.
with objectdock, it seemed that earlier version of some docklets (like weather) had a script that automatically wanted a connection.
one other - on the msn login window, don't have it checked to sign in automatically.
have you gone into internet options, connections, and checked never dial? I have back and re-check it sometimes after updates.
1st queston asked of you: Are you using the free or registered version? free vs registered = makes a difference.

It all depends if you want the object to be invisible in itself - in which case you can use the default object image and just make it disappear. If you do that and it gets moved, it's a not a simple to find it as it once was, what with havin builder and desktop separated. Or if you want to use your own image and just want part of it transparent.
magic pink red - 255 green- 0 blue- 255 you can use it as color transparency - every thing that color will be invisible or you can use the tranparency option in the objects properties 0-100% transparency
Hear here. I agree. I look at it as a gift. I had no personal stake in any of the creations uploaded here or anywhere else. I did not commission anything. I had no say in color scheme, buttons, tool bar, etc, etc, etc. Unless the creator accidently left something out, it's complete. Criticisms should be contructive and conducive to helping improvement in skill.
Cool. Good news is good. More good news: I found my taskbar!
Don't allow 0%, transparency, make the minimum 10% or something. If you're going to set 0%, might as well just hide the bar. Insert additional wiseass comment here.
Crap. now I can't find it.
Also works with 'on top' unchecked, autohide checked, and OD hide enabled.
I've been watching it. Auto hide slides out. OD hide makes it just disappear. I think it just makes it go transparent, so if it's always on top, the window obeys the boundary.
I'm unable to duplicate the whole problem. In part, cuz I'm not using OB. When I set the task bar to auto hide it worked fine, windows came up full expansion. Whem I use OD to hide, the bar I get the blank space. Even tried it on the left, same things happened. But when I left the bar showing, and unchecked keep on top of windows, then used OD to hide = FULL SCREEN
