I've noticed from this site, people use different drives. Is yours in C? When you get the message, does it give you an opportunity to browse for it? I haven't got the message yet. Mine told me the docklet was installed and will be there when I open ObjectDock, but it's not there. I had to find it and move it.

AdWare isn't really considered a virus. Adware comes with a lot of 'free' programs and if you just breeze through the EULA and installation, you basically agree to let them install on your computer. Try an adware/spyware program like SpyBot Search & Destroy (watch out for knock offs, you want Patrick M Kolla's) or AdAware. One is free, the other has a free version that works pretty good. There are earlier posts here discussing anti-adware

My mom has a Dell. Everytime I called for her, I had to put up with "Scripts" Q&A, On night was getting a 16 digit error message number. Help at Dell wanted the number, I gave it. Once the message was acknowledged, a new one would pop up. Help want that number, I told them it was exactly the same except the last 2 digits changed. They wanted all 16 digits. 9 messages, 16 digits and only the last 2 changed, but I had to give all 16 dig

I use the free version. I have FireFox set as default browser. Tried the search docklet - opens in a new tab - how I have FF set. Closed FF - opened IE - tried the search docklet, it opened search in FF. If you're using IE do you have it set to reuse windows? If so try unchecking that option. Tools > internet options > advanced > under browsing.

"Save Theme as sounds" like an older version (unless it still says that on the free one). Now DesktopX is split into 2 areas & you have to be in the Builder to create and save (which now shows as "Save Desktop as". If you right click the tray icon do you get an option for Desktop welcome? If so click it and when the window comes up choose create.

I believe it can be done. Just don't know how to do it (newbie). Seems one way is create the dock, then hide it. create an object to control the dock. which can be any picture or just the default object set to transparent. if you look at some of the desktopx themes I'm sure you'll find one with a part that correlates to what your looking for. Take a look at it & you'll see how it was done. I haven't gone too deep into them yet b
