Nothing happens when you right click the object? Weird. I'm still working on figuring out 3 - I had just got used to the old version. This builder thing throws me. Have you tried the builder? Right click the tray icon and choose Desktop Welcome, then create. It will take over and then you should be in the edit mode. If that doesn't help, try loading a new theme and don't save the one you wsnt the object to disappear on.
In order to use a object as a short cut (or as an 'icon') you'll need desktopX but on the other hand, you can then have an animated icon
But at least I can load what I already have downloaded.
Mine found the featured suite but could not download.
I show 2.11.029 installed (release) & 2.19[rh].002 available (pre-release) The installed loads suites okay.

I've had it before for FireFox not Thunderbird. I installed Mr TECHS Local Install. Now when I hit a problem like that, I save the file and the install locally. Not sure, but it may have to do with either SP2 causing it to be in the wrong file ext., or sometimes the jar isn't a jar.
Every once in a while MSN login pops up when I'm offline. If I close it, it will pop up later. I open IE, internet options, connections, and choose never dial. Then it stops until the next time some program changes it back to dial whenever.
