Information warfare is probably the best if they have low approval. Mini-soldiers is probably the best non-planet destroying method after that. It just destroys some improvements, but not the planet quality.

Mousewheel is your friend. Mousewheel on the slider moves it by one, mouse wheel next to the numbers moves it by 10.
Alliances are more like Mutal Defense Pacts. They'll only go to war if you're attacked.
Building on food bonus tiles is fine. You'll probably need a morale improvement to balance it out though.
Market Centers eventually become stock markets, which also give morale bonuses.
I actually looked at my stats screen recently after starting a game and noticed I had extra stats than what I had picked, so I went through them all and looked at the bonus stats each race gains on top of what is selected. I also put down the techs they get. Terran Social 10 Diplomacy 5 Logistics 6 HyperDrive Xeno Communications Xeno Engineering Yor Economics 10 Social 20
I crash a lot when saving or hitting the turn button. If the game crashes while you're saving, that save will be corrupted and unuseable! So I recommend you 1) Save OFTEN and make different saves! It helps to just number them. Like A1, A2, A3 for the first game. If it's an important save, make it like A5War. 2) Reduce autosave to something like 6 turns. Because you're bound to forget. 3) If you want, install SmartException https://www
About the planet quality population limit, I've seen Mars stop growing at 1.3 billion in the 1.0.005 gamma game before. Are you sure the formula's correct?
I'm getting the same error as Darth Bobo. I was part of the Totalgaming.net transition, but IIRC, it should be considered a collector's edition electronically.
The way I do it in the late game if I most of my planets don't need social projects, is put sliders at 50% military and 50% social, and for the few planets that still need buildings, let them focus on the social. If I'm impatient, I'll just buy the building.
Doh, I didn't even realize you could type in the money now. That'll be very useful.
Ok, it's been sent.
Alrightie, I've sent you my savegame.
Yes, this is a metaverse game. It's the only game I have submitted.
I have a feeling it's the having too much money that caused the flag. If it is, the limit is way too little. I had maxed economics, federalist party, a full economics resource starbase, and I had tax at 69% most of the game. I was getting 3000bc/turn (AFTER expenses!), and I was selling techs to the AI for even more money too!
That's not a bug, it's because cultural victories are turned off. It's the way things have worked since GalCiv 1
Ok, I just played a game, WITHOUT cheats. I turned off all victory conditions to ensure a military victory (like in Galciv 1). Towards the end, when I had completely dominated the game, I just clicked Turn over and over again until all the planets flipped to me. I had over 210000 cash near the end. I submit, and it zeroes my score. I try it again, and use a transport to take over the last planet. Same thing. I'd like my n
Well, I tried it again and conquered it by transport. Same problem. I guess then it's probably from me having over 200000 cash at one point. Kind sucks being labeled a cheater for completely outplaying the computer.
What, was it because I turned off cultural conquest and won by culture flipping the last planet and got a military conquest (valid strategy from GC1)? Or was it because I had a TON of cash from waiting for the planet to flip?
War Party description/stat listed still has a discrepancy. The description is probably the correct one, at 4 points worth of bonuses. Weeks left for social project completion in the planet view is half the actual time left. The one shown when you list all planets is correct.
Description says +50%, tech listed shows +25% Probably should be +50% since every other party has 4 points worth of bonuses.
Hmm, not sure if that was intended, but I cleared my score after testing it because it was from a Battle of the God scenario which you have removed from the release for Metaverse games.
For the early release! Woo!
They took out Battle of the Gods for Metaverse. Well, I'm gonna drop my difficulty down to Normal then. Race: Iconian, peaceful Galaxy size: small Opponents: default Number of Stars: rare Number of planets: abundant Habitable planets: abundant Clusters: tight Difficulty: Normal
Hey, how come your medals show up?
