I don't think that it is right to compare full-length Marx Brothers' movies with Stooges' shorts. (Sure the Stooges did full-lengths, but did the Brothers do shorts? --Maybe they did, but I don't know about them.) I think it is more appropriate to compare the Marx Brothers to Laurel and Hardy. I heard today that Barry Bonds arrived at training camp on crutches after knee surgery. After blaming the media for "getting to him", Bonds indicated that he will be out for at least the first half of (and possibly the whole) baseball season. My wife and I just finished watching a tape of last night's episode of Hey! Spring of Trivia . Hey is a Japanese variety show where short documentaries are shown about various items of trivia (as sent in by viewers). Following each mini-documentary, a celebrity panel evaluates each bit of trivia by pressing a button that says "hey" (in English it would mean, "really?" or "wow.") The item of trivia that scores the most "Hey"s is the daily winner. <P
I have my kids at school use Google all the time. I just make sure that I set the filter as high as it can go. Of course kids will figure out how to set the controls down, so you may have to watch that.
