I think that if higher gas prices result in smaller cars on the road, I would be happy. As a sedan driver, it really bugs me when my line of sight (when turning) is blocked by a truck, van, or SUV. I wouldn't mind if there were only occasional larger vehicles, but it has gotten to the point where everyone drives one. Bicycling everywhere... I don't get bike nuts. I wonder who had the idea that it would be a good idea to document the treatment of prisoners. One would think that if prisoners were photographed, someone would get their hands on those photographs. Regardless of whether or not the captors had a reason to pick on the captives, it shouldn't have been photographed. That was really stupid.

Yesterday as I was driving between worksites, I heard a song on the radio that I hadn't heard in a very long time. After the song, the DJ didn't give the title, but she reminded us that we were listening to the year 1981 on "the 80s lunch hour." I have heard so many good things about "Neighbours." All of my friends who have lived in either Australia or the UK have really enjoyed watching it. Yes. That is what I did. If I find something "objectionable," it doesn't mean I necessarily avoid it. Putting swear words in a title is an effective way to divert traffic into one's post. That said: I think that the use of objectionable language in titles should be avoided. The titles of recent and commented-upon articles show up on everyone's weblogs.

Thanks. You know, I have noticed that same thing. The music was way too loud for the beginning of Jasmine's song. That happens every once-in-a-while for singers who are "on the bubble." I was wondering whether that may be a way for the show's producers to "manipulate" the voting results. I think that the point is that the flag wavers should try to show some restraint. It is okay to wave the flag around a bit, just don't go into "Icky Shuffle" territory. I don't really see why nationalities are such a big deal in the Olympics anyway. Olympic victories are individual accomplishments. Victorious athletes would be better off trotting around with larger-than-life-sized posters of themselves rather than flags of their country. As an Amer
