It seemed to me that Batagli was the best of the four that I have seen so far. Since the judges are American, the Japanese chefs will have a harder time adjusting their cooking tosuit their tastes. Americans really love strong tastes, and Japanese dishes traditionally have weaker tastes. That said, if Food Network is indeed intending to make a series out of this, it would make sense to have their Iron Chefs seem as strong as possible

201 Since I was very young, I have been interested in professional wrestling. From that time, my interest in wrestling has experienced its peaks and valleys. In general, I have always tried to keep abreast of what is going on in the wrestling circles. I haven't been watching pro wrestling as often as I had been in the past, but I still fait

201 One of my favorite programs on television is the "Iron Chef" reruns. It is such a shame that I wasn't able to watch that show when I was actually living in Japan. Apparently, that show was on during my work hours. About two years ago, the UPN Network tried to make their own version of "Iron Chef." The Kaga-san character was played by William S

Here it is: article number 200. Thanks to those of you who have been faithful readers of my weblog. I enjoy seeing that people read what I write, and that they occasionally place comments. For this entry, I am reprinting my top-five articles as of April 21st, 2004. The first article about the last episode of "Friends" has been referre

Let's see.... Heaven would be like the ninth inning of a close baseball game. Hell would be like visiting the immigration office or the DMV. I do know that Warrant tells us that "Heaven isn't too far away."

199 Hey there friends! I hope that you're having a happy Friday. My wife and I just returned from a walk to the pet store. We bought two goldfish to put into our aquarium. The ulterior motive of our trip was to put baby Kenny to sleep. He hadn't had a nap today, and it seemed that he was getting a bit sleepy. It worked. He was sleep

I remember when I started my blog. I posted a few articles, and then I was ranked number eight or something. I thought: "What the heck is that?" It was because the site was only a few days old when I started. Lucky coincedence. So far so good. You're a pretty prolific poster. The more you post the higher you'll go.

Click here for my most recent post 198 Well Well. American Idol is over for this week. The results' show was awfully surprising. LaToya, Jennifer, and Fantasia were in the bottom three. I would have to say that the three contestants have suffered as a result of being coined "The Three Divas." I read the results of tonight's show to be that since there are only so many "diva" fans to go around, the three young ladies e

Joe Nathan is a .200 OBP improvement on Eddie Guardado. Plus he's right handed. Who knows, maybe he's the second-coming of Dave Stevens; but a team would like to have a hard-throwing righthander out there in the ninth rather than a soft-throwing lefty. (And Hawkins signed with the Cubs even before the Twins could make an offer.) I am willing to give Nathan a chance, even though he has gotten off to a bit of a rough start. Before

197 Well, American Idol is over. We had a good time watching it here at my house. Tonight's theme was "The music of Barry Manilow." I remember the first time I was exposed to Barry Manilow. He was the earliest guest that I remember seeing on "The Tonight Show." I remember that he had a piano with him on center stage, he had a gigantic nose, and t

Okay. Now I understand what all the fuss was about. You wrote stuff about other people's blogs. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ If I am not mistaken, JeremyG also said that he was leaving (after a week) in his: "Quest for the top begins..." article. That was over three months ago, and I think that he's fairly active in here. Nothing personal JeremyG, blog on... I was

196 Hi there. I am a teacher, but since I work at three different schools, driving between job sites is part of my daily routine. As I was driving between schools today, I heard the song "No More Tears" on the radio. That song is really cool, and it has a pretty nifty guitar hook. "No More Tears" is a song that I enjoy to turn up loud and

Free time is worth a lot more than money. Of course having money tends to really enhance one's free time. I think that it would be really great to be a prince. That way, you get both the money and the free time. Of course, prince jobs are really hard to come by. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I work as a teacher. As a teacher, I see summer vacation as being

195 Hello there friends! I hope that you are having an interesting and fun weekend. I just finished a pretty busy Saturday. After waking up, my family went to an ECFE benefit garage sale at the High School in Elk River. We were able to buy a lot of baby stuff for just $14. We got some clothes, books, and toys. Our most interesting purcha

***For up-to-date Idol commentary, visit my most current post (click here.)*** 194 Well, the results' show is over. This time it was Jon Peter Lewis' turn to get "screwed" by John Stevens. I was surprised at the bottom three tonight. I thought that Jon Peter Lewis and John Stevens were "immune" to getting into the bottom three until there were six contestants left. I wasn't so surprised that Diana was down there,

193 Hi there friends! Just finished watching tonight's episode of "American Idol." The theme of tonight's show was "Favorite Movie Songs." The theme kind of threw me off at the start of the show. The contestants would talk about their favorite movie, and then they would sing a song from a different movie. There were a few, "Was that song r
