Sure, its a game, not Germany WWII. Simple huh? what's your point? packman or stack challenge are both games too, and both have nothing to do with WWII germany. Thankfully galciv is a little more sofisticated than just being a 'game'. Since the OP used WWII as a basis to compare real life to a video game, which GCII is, if you like it or not. I simply answered h

Tiny is smaller then Small. At least thats what I always though. IE you can't put as much in Tiny as you do small.

Darky, to remove spies you need to have a spy. One spy will Kill another spy. You do this from the espionage Menu (it's in same area where you check your taxes sliders). So if you have 4 spies and the enemy attacks with 8 you can only kill 4 of them. (same rule for the enemy AI). And you have to wait until you build 4 more to kill the other 4. To get agents you have to allocate spending to Espionage. Its under the Military, social, research sliders. You can only allocate 25

Oh the best thing to do with Late Game Minors if they are near you is to wait until they build up the planet a little, hopefully with a few Capital type buildings up. That way when you invade you have a really uber planet. Its hard to keep the AI off from them though.

I seem to remember that when I first played GCII DL that the minor races would have tons of ships protecting homeworld. Ever since the 2nd or 3rd patch they care more about building useless Starbases they can't use (IE influence) instead of defenses for the homeworld. It a lot of wasted credits and might be one of the reasons they are fodder now.

Also its best to use alot of spies to disable an enemy Buildings. (IE work 0n economy) because after 2 turns the AI will use all its Spies it has in reserve to kill yours, then if you place more the ai will only get 1 spy every 4 turns or so to kill just one of your spies. It takes 10-15 spies to bring a civ to its knees, as long as you can survive his first counter spy attack on you, you will hurt him bad.

This is one reason I wish we could build multiple levels of building over the course of the game. Forcing new planets to start from the best possible building is just oppressive. Especially when the worlds you capture are underdeveloped or are suffering massive loss of structures due to harsh conquests. This effected me in my current gam

Think luck does have to do with specials. Since Specials are another form Of Randomis. And luck is suppose to Give Bonus to player on Random Items. Course Could be wrong, won't be first time.

I have been playing it since it has come out. Not every day so say. But usually I buy a Game and play it a week. Tells you alot about a game if Im still playing 6 months after release. Only other game that I have that has done this is Operation Flashpoint (still on hardrive in some form) and The Total War Series. Even though I don't play Rome Total War anymore I played it about 6 months or so.

For 1.4 they are promising that morale buildings will have more punch but be much more expensive. That doesn't help much. That would have a Huge Impact on the Economy of the game again. Maybe Just tweak them a little, but don't make them Mega Moral Busters at the cost of Keeping your Civ Grinding away at trying to build them all. It

Buy a MOral Building right off to offset the changes. Then buy either 1 factory or 2. Which ever suits your playstyle. Use to be buy a Factory first, but since moral changes happened Buy Moral Building 1st turn. Also turn down Taxes to help out also. The colony rush is now a Huge Managment issue, which it should be. Also Reasearch faster engines as soon as possible, and Get Sensors I fast. That way you can build Anomalie ships to grab those Money Anomolies. <img src="
